I’m reading many stories this morning about people in Washington DC area selling their homes. Well, “words talk but numbers scream” so I look for numbers. Using Zillow, I select DC and the “commuting triangle” from Alexandria to Silver Springs to McLean. There are 431 new listings that went on market THIS WEEK and over 800 new listings in the last 2 WEEKS. There are a total of 4,000+ active listings and, as far as I can tell, it looks like there were approx 800-1,000 listings 90 days ago (Nov 15th right after the election). So that’s 3000 new listings! Hmmm… the swamp is draining which means swamp creatures don’t need caves.

@BeardyBrandon You are correct Bradon. However in my experience we had to do a pivot from mostly residential to a mix with commercial, almost 20 years ago. I have to say now we are 90% offices and it seems that we will go this way for the long haul.
