I migrated entire Flow #PHP into Mago Linter / Formatter / Analyzer. What before was taking more than a minute now takes 5 seconds. One tool replaced 3 providing insane performance boost. Since Mago is also very strict it helped me to improve Flow code quality 💪

@norbert_tech @azjezz Mago is awesome. I started using it 3 months ago and show me that the doc blocs in the controllers and actions are the worst architectural concepts made in the application core. Code are more readable and reliable now thanks do Mago.

@leonardoalt Brazilian lost their freedom long time ago. Politicians and those crap made CPF required for companies to sale, you can not emit an invoice without. Government knows every step you toke, every thing you bought and people love it - they don’t fight.

Brazil is the worst at privacy: visited a relative today, and in order to enter their gated community had to give my social security number (the cursed CPF), DoB, full name. This is completely normalized and even restaurants and pharmacies will ask for CPF. Wtf is this timeline

Benchmarking the new LFM2.5-8B-A1B MoE by @liquidai on an @AMD RX 7800 XT using ROCm and llama.cpp. A few interesting results: >Q5_K_M delivered the fastest generation speed at ~200 tok/s >Q8_0 pushed over 6,000 tok/s prompt processing >Even a 16GB card can run these smaller MoE models comfortably >Shows just how much capability is available without needing flagship hardware Running more tests on the AMD stack and seeing how far ROCm has come

@PovilasKorop I’m in this right moment. From a week ago I started the harness process - upgrading all gates, tests and guardrails. GPT is very good on that. It’s not perfect or as I imagine, but results are pretty damn better and before. It is a long journey - perhaps the biggest.

@crmdesign8 Yes, exactly what I thought about. That many developers are still working on repeating the MANUAL cleaning too much, instead of investing in the guardrails/systems for automation.

I have just turned on my robot vacuum cleaner and left the house for a few hours. And I thought about an analogy with AI coding agents. We will probably be doing the same or some developers already are doing the same, right? We instruct the agent and we may leave for a while. With analogy to the vacuum cleaner, yes, it sometimes fails. Yes it sometimes gets stuck somewhere. But the habit of people is so strong that they would probably be more motivated to clean the path for the vacuum for the next time or buy a better robot vacuum instead of getting back to doing the vacuuming and cleaning by hand, right? I think there is something to think about the future of developers. We should work on better "vacuums" and systems for them to do their work better.

@farmDev79 O desafio está em fazer elas manterem isso em ambientes e projetos mais complexos. Sofro com itens proibidos como ‘normalizer’, ‘assertCan**’ fora do domínio, mesmo com proibição explícita.

Dividir um problema em problemas menores continua sendo a habilidade fundamental do dev. Se você pede pra IA resolver o problema "inteiro" e vai pedindo ajustes isso tende a só virar uma salada incompreensível.

Estou trabalhando em uma empresa gringa que possui um monólito gigantesco, baseado em Symfony PHP. O sistema tem pelo menos 40 dependências que são projetos a parte e possuem Git próprios. Se você mexer em um, pode quebrar o código em outros. Trabalhar em um sistema assim, sem uma suite de testes automatizados muito bons, você está perdido. Para sorte minha, os Devs abençoados que trabalharam aqui antes deixaram uma cobertura de mais de 98% no sistema todo, é muito bem testados. O PHPUnity foi muito bem utilizado. Um aplauso para esses caras.
