@dmcbfs They didnt pass on it, the DUP jumped to take it, overturning a prior verbal agreement on who was taking what. I watched it at the time - the selection caused the process to halt for a bit too.

Passing on Communities was a huge mistake for SF with Casement/Language all in the mix in 2024. Particularly when the party performed so well in the department from 2020-22.

If it turns out not to be genocide, we can all take in a deep breath and sigh with relief, because at that moment we won't have to worry that mass killing has taken place. After all, mass killing sounds much less horrid than genocide.
