@mwenyekitty @TheBreakdownAB @grok 1. list the hospital expansion projects that are currently ongoing in both Edmonton and Calgary. 2. When Edmonton's new Stollery location is completed, explain what will happen with the old facility.

🇺🇸 U.S. Oil & Gas: The U.S. sits on 46 billion barrels of proved crude oil reserves, with 60% of that locked in dense underground rock. The Permian Basin, which stretches across West Texas and southeastern New Mexico, pumps out 6.6 million barrels a day on its own, more than every OPEC country except Saudi Arabia. Zoom out, and the U.S. is the single largest oil producer on the planet at 13.6 million barrels a day, out-producing both Russia (9.1M) and Saudi Arabia (9.3M). On natural gas, it isn't close: America produced a record 43.2 trillion cubic feet in 2025, roughly a quarter of the world's supply and more than Russia and Iran combined. The U.S. sits on world-class reserves and out-produces every petrostate.

CPP doesn't matter where you live. You can live in Thailand and still collect your CPP. Passport, technically we were all born in Canada, we're still citizens. They would have to pass sweeping reforms to revoke citizenship from millions of people. National Defense, are you serious? Canada's military has become a joke. All we do is sign a defense pact with the U.S. and give them access to some air bases. Who do we need to defend against? Access to the coast? How is Eastern Canada going to access to rail and truck transport coming into the port of Vancouver? You think that's going to cross Alberta if our oil is being blocked through BC? We've got answers to all of it, and the opponents have nothing but fear and nostalgia.

@chilleddrpepper @CarterByrd13 Currency, passport, CPP, national defence and access to the coast. Alberta has been getting a raw deal from the feds but I really don’t see how they’d be better off.

@CarterByrd13 American fan fiction where they think Alberta would join the USA just to pay more federal tax than they do in the USA and receive no social services in return lol. Alberta separatism is dumb but joining the USA is even dumber.

@Hedgeye We don't sit on the largest reserves. We only pull out the most every day because we use up the most. Here's who has the most, and they save it, because they can.

$30 million of taxpayer money—for “regenerative seascapes” in Africa. This is what happens when Ottawa treats taxpayer money like monopoly cash. Without Alberta’s contributions, Ottawa would finally have to budget responsibly and focus on real priorities. #AlbertaIndependence

Canadian taxpayers donated $30 million to “support the establishment of a network of sustainable, resilient and inclusive seascapes” in Africa.
