Discord is working on a feature that displays server activity hours on the server invite screen. Activity will be calculated based on the last 7 days. There are two variants being evaluated through A/B testing::
Variant 1: Chart display
Variant 2: A text summary of the most active hours, most active days, and the server creation date
This update will also bring a rework of the account registration screen, which will display the server invite card next to the registration form.

@LiquidNiko @stupidtechtakes For an email-based phishing campaign, yeah.
But for stuff on like Discord or something, I'd assume a lot of people are going to benefit from this
English

@cruggdev @stupidtechtakes 60 minutes is a nothing burger if you can run a successful phishing campaign in 60 minutes start to finish then take my accounts you’ve earned it lmao
English

@stupidtechtakes you needed an account before though, no?
I'd say the lack of having to make an account or even having to supply and verify an email address definitely makes it easier to upload malicious sites in bulk and more frequently.
English

@cruggdev you can already host websites for free thru cloudflare or other providers. this just makes it easier with drag n drop.
English

@WumpusCentral they're focusing on things like this instead of reinstating wrongfully banned users' accounts like they said they would?
English

Discord dropped a new minigame under ads.discord.com if it detects that you don't have access to the ads portal

English

@HoschePosche Yeah, definetly.
But even better would be to have some option that is neither...
I never said "we should stay with Curseforge because Modrinth is pro GenAI"
I simply wanted to state that Modrinth is not the 100% perfect alternative some people make it out to be.
English

@cruggdev @ImStrikeTV rather a pro GenAI company than a pro Israel company tbh
English

Every year or so CurseForge is called out for being terrible and then every year or so everyone goes crawling back instead of just sticking with Modrinth which is genuinely better in almost every way lmao
~ Juniper@juniperadev
Fuck CurseForge. We are removing our mod from CurseForge immediately, for the following reasons (as well as *more* that I just didn't get to).
English

@homestuckEROTIC Curseforge is definitely the worse one here, yes!
It's still important to acknowledge and spread awareness that Modrinth has its issues too though.
English

@cruggdev @ImStrikeTV refusing to launch without also opening israeli spyware is worse
English

@davidthefrikr They actively defended people who use Generative AI with the arguments that they may not have the skills to make artwork themselves.
That is in my opinion very clearly being pro GenAI.
English

@cruggdev @ImStrikeTV modrinth isn't necessarily pro genai, they're just against misleading descriptions. as long as the creator fully labels it then they don't have a problem with it. the community can still choose mods with no genai use

English

@MDualsense (1) One thing being worse than the other still leaves the other thing bad.
(2) It's not just "supporting new technology", it's large scale theft of art
English

@cruggdev @ImStrikeTV Supporting a new technology or supporting a civilian murdering army, hmmm whoch is worse I wonder
English

@heliumbrowser If only there could be a chance to have DRM Media support one day... I'd instantly switch over...

many new ways to make your browser feel "just right" dropped in helium today:
- centered address bar
- minimal address bar
- new dynamic layout
- improvements to vertical layout
- and experimental zen/frameless mode (flagged, bit buggy, but cool!)
