What President Trump posted was not blasphemy. As Christians, we are commanded in Scripture to lay hands on the sick and pray for their healing (Mark 16:18). When Trump shared that image and message, he wasn’t claiming to be Jesus or putting himself in the place of God. He was simply expressing that, as a follower of Jesus Christ, he believes in the power of prayer and the authority Christians have been given to lay hands on the sick. There’s a big difference between claiming to be Christ and claiming to follow Christ. Trump was doing the latter, openly identifying as a Christian who believes in the healing power of God.

The allegations underlying today’s raid are baseless and X categorically denies any wrongdoing. X is committed to defending its fundamental rights and the rights of its users. President Trump says Denmark should show more gratitude to America for liberation from the Nazis. It wasn’t the Americans who liberated Denmark. It was the British Second Army. The American Army was in southern Germany. The British liberated northern France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Denmark and invaded northern Germany.
