We just launched our new Web Search API on Product Hunt today The fastest and most accurate way for AI agents to search the entire web and get structured, production ready data back. This was by far our most requested feature. It took months of work to build and get right. Combined with our People and Company APIs, agents can now find real answers across news, social posts, research papers, open source content, blogs, and live websites and use that information immediately. If you are building AI agents for sales, recruiting, investment, insurance, research, or internal automation, this is a foundational layer.

Daniel used Nutella jars to book sales demos Daniel is one of our first hires at @Crustdata, but before that, he was a former YC founder himself it was 2015, he was competing with Lyft, Andreessen and Google for the same eyeballs at the Columbia fair he couldn't afford to spend what these companies were spending so he bought a bunch of Nutella jars instead and made an event out of his booth: snap a pic in front of them and share it, and you get a free Nutella jar at the end of the night his booth was always crowded, people were laughing, and they were having great conversations with everyone because of it one of the best hires he ever made came from that event, alongside with countless demos and leads if you are a startup, you have a responsibility to think creatively find new ways to get discovered and get your name out there, you can't compete with big companies using the same methods you need to find your own way that costs 10x less but has the same impact and if that means using the Nutella jar method, so be it

Anthropic is now hiring more Sales people than AI researchers and engineers combined They just can't sell Claude fast enough Very interesting shift from the old Anthropic playbook around AGI/Safety Now they seem to be going full go-to-market and getting into every vertical & launching consumer products

dylan field shared on lenny's podcast how he got figma's first users: he wrote a script to scrape twitter, built a network graph of the design community in Gephi, ran an analysis to find the most influential nodes, then reached out to every one of them "can I buy you a coffee?" this is basically what smart outbound looks like in 2026, just with better tools: 1) use data to find who's actively talking about your problem space 2) rank them by engagement and network reach 3) reach out referencing something specific they said the playbook from 2012 is still the best GTM strategy :) the only difference is now you don't have to write your own scraper or limit yourself to one platform, just use the Crustdata API

our entire sales team is now claude pilled, they all use a claude skill we made called “pre-call research” everyone of them connected their Claude to Google Calendar, the Crustdata MCP and Slack before every call it automatically: - looks at who's attending - pulls the company's page + domain data - checks the inbound booking context - fetches enriched real-time profiles of each attendee via Crustdata - creates a full brief: company snapshot, talking points, prospect assessment you can also schedule it: "every morning at 8am, run pre-call research on all my calls for the day and DM me the briefs" its pretty insane that this workflow alone could have been the main feature of a sales saas not even 1 year ago and now its just something anyone can run on claude

GitHub Copilot will train on your code by default starting April 24 - and vibe coding might be one of the reasons. Despite this growth, the monthly web traffic has remained relatively flat, mostly in the ~480M to ~540M range. So it seems pretty clear that most of this growth is not coming from a large wave of new users. It is much more likely coming from the same users generating significantly more activity than before. Which raises an important question: How long can GitHub sustain this?

We analyzed all 656 of OpenAI’s current job listings to understand where their focus is and why they decided to acquire TBPN Here’s what we found: → Only 30 of 656 roles are in Research → ~150 are in Go-To-Market, more than Research, Security, and Data Science combined → ~100 are Palantir-style Forward Deployed Engineers. Anthropic surpassed them in enterprise market share. This is their answer → 18 roles are dedicated to ads. They hit $100M in ad revenue within 6 weeks of the pilot → 20 roles are in health and life sciences. Drug discovery, FDA submissions, clinical docs → 41 roles are for the Jony Ive hardware device

The @TBPN Effect: We tracked the web traffic for every TBPN sponsor before and after partnering with TBPN On average, TBPN sponsors grew their web traffic by +65% after partnering with the popular show @TBPN, hosted by @johncoogan and @jordihays Some examples: @Ramp: 1.3M => 4.8M visits/mo (partner since Jan 28, 2025) @turbopuffer: 8K => 68K visits/mo (partner since Sep 30, 2025) @Linear: 2.2M => 5.9M visits/mo (partner since Apr 25, 2025) Whether it was TBPN that caused the growth or not - you can't deny the TBPN effect.

we hired a new growth engineer and this is how I instantly knew he was a good hire: finding low-hanging fruits fast and fixing them just 2 days after joining, he built a Claude skill called pre-call-research all you do is connect Claude to Google Calendar, the Crustdata MCP and Slack before every call it automatically: - looks at who's attending - pulls the company's page + domain data - checks the inbound booking context - fetches enriched real-time profiles of each attendee via Crustdata - creates a full brief: company snapshot, talking points, prospect assessment you can also schedule it: "every morning at 8am, run pre-call research on all my calls for the day and DM me the briefs" if you join a new company, find those low-hanging fruits as fast as possible and fix them one of the best impressions you can leave

Our non-technical marketing team used Claude Code to build a tool on top of our APIs. It's now ranked #4 on Product Hunt Just 2 years ago, this would have been impossible Something is changing right now that I have seen across many YC companies: Every single employee will become an "engineer" in their field: > Marketing engineer > GTM engineer > Customer success engineer And they will create their own tools and workflows to be more productive than ever Btw: give it a go and check out our launch. We are competing with Gemini and Claude for the top #3!
