Happened to be in Florida for the first night launch of the space shuttle.. the Columbia. That was absolutely incredible! You could read a book from 7 miles away.. where I took these pictures. The sound actually "rips" like it does on TV. Words cannot do justice!

Roger sadly passed on August 24th, 2024. He was recently diagnosed with cancer and took his last breaths surrounded by family. We know how much his online connections meant to him and we are grateful for the impact you made on his life. "... all good things must come to an end."

@BaronDestructo There was an early version of the script where Taylor's ship actually landed instead of crashing. It would be interesting to some of those screenplays. You can definitely see the difference in the Lake Powell toilet bowl in that movie. It was there, just not nearly as big.

@elonmusk I think it would be cool to paint "STARSHIP" on the side where it just says "SHIP" after stage sep (like Skydiver in the old show UFO).

@BaronDestructo I can't tell if this one posted.. I forgot to post the pictures I found with the first one. I don't know where the last one came from but it shows wings that look like the version that would have crashed into the lake.

@BaronDestructo It appears there was a slight variation.. the door in the back may have not gone anywhere because there are rockets back there that are listed as having hold and wild pieces on the exterior. The rest of the design looks very similar.

@BaronDestructo Oops.. forgot the attachments. The skirting panel are hold while the rockets are wild. You can see in the other shot how the wings look like the concept drawing of it crashing.

Cancer is not fun, I don't recommend it to anyone.

We could help a lot more needy people if we could stop the ones trying to live off our money just because they can.. I've personally known too many of those.

The abusers of welfare that I have met are white, once single mothers whose children are all grown, that use the money on booze and drugs because they just don't want to work.

@CDMenefee @KenPaxtonTX Cash payouts get abused.. make sure it goes towards the things it should and not towards things it shouldn't and the problem is fixed. Unearned cash shouldn't be paid to anyone.

@elonmusk @SpaceX It was incredibly awesome to see Ship take such a beating and still perform. The video of the plasma from outside is something even NASA hasn't been able to show us.. y'all have surpassed 60 years of their development in just 10 years. Proud you're a Texan!

Despite loss of many tiles and a damaged flap, Starship made it all the way to a soft landing in the ocean! Congratulations @SpaceX team on an epic achievement!!

@ShadowMann9 My last response to you is why I've stayed away.. I want to make people happy, not depress them with my grumpiness. It's just kinda hard when everything seems stacked against me.. so I keep to myself in any way I can. Having my friend dive into a bottle is still hard to deal with
