@TomP1Bellingham Not true. Lando should have pitted first, lead driver in any teams gets the right. The team radio said no under cut, that affected his decision. I believe if he pitted first with a slow stop they wouldn't have swapped.

This really opens a can of worms for McLaren now. If they're close on points going into Abu Dhabi and then one of the cars has a slow stop would they really expect the driver to sacrifice the position and the championship? Where do you draw the line?

@Laith_ziod @F1 Caveat, if lando pits first and its the same result then its fair game. But them team are supposed to give the first stop to lead driver. Saying there is no under cut affected his decision

@Laith_ziod @F1 I am a Ferrari fan, lando refused the pit first due to the radio call of no under cut. Yes that doesnt account for a poor stop, but he should have pitted first as per his lead status at the time. Its shit swapping positions but they shouldn't have allowed Oscar to pit first
