Glad folks are finally taking notice of how Eastern Orthodoxy is amiss. When you add to the scriptures and add theatrics to the sacraments the Bible never prescribed or described you end up derailing into strange practices like chanting for the dead, kissing cartoon pictures, praying to humans, and charging for extra biblical theatrical baptism. Jesus simply walked down to the water. You can add all the theatrics for aesthetic reasons if you want but it means absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of what baptism is.

There is no dilemma at all, because you'd have to substantiate that the EARLY CHURCH IS what the Eastern Orthodox Church is today As far as I am concerned, praying to the Dead was not something any of the apostles practiced in the early church. Therefore if EO is false, protestantism is still true because one can argue we are closer to what the Bible tells us a Church is than what your church looks like.
