This is incredibly misleading. Trump did not call to REPORT Epstein - he rang the police AFTER their investigation into Epstein became public. Thus, Trump knew what Epstein and Maxwell were doing, but didn't report it to the police until he heard about the investigation. If you wanted to deflect from your long, long 'best pals' friendship with Epstein isn't this exactly what you would do? He has also since claimed that he knew nothing about what Epstein and Maxwell were doing, but this clearly shows that he was lying – he DID know and yet did not tell the police until the police investigation was underway. Other questions: If he knew that Maxwell was 'evil' why (a) wasn't he the one to instigate the Epstein police inquiry, and (b) why did he have Maxwell moved to a cushy prison by his personal lawyer Todd Blanche on the understanding that she would keep her mouth shut? This is being spun as 'exonerating' Trump when it clearly does the opposite.

The only people who believe Trump is implicated, are the people who don’t know the Trump/Epstein timeline: 2005: Trump bans Epstein from all Trump properties for hitting on underaged girl. 2006: Epstein arrested in FL after Trump helped victims go after Epstein. 2008: Epstein convicted on minimal charges and 18 month sentence from Bush-appointed judge and let off the hook by Clinton-allied FBI. 2008-2016: Obama and the Dems did absolutely nothing about Epstein. The media didn’t touch it. It was a “conspiracy theory”. 2017: Less than 3 weeks after inauguration, Trump signs EO 13773, targeting “Transnational criminal organizations and preventing criminal trafficking”. It was one of the first things Trump did as POTUS. Trump targeted not just Epstein’s operation, but others like it around the world. 2019: Trump’s DOJ arrests Epstein, seizes his island, throws him in jail for crimes against children. 2020: Trump’s DOJ arrests Maxwell, throws her in jail for crimes against children. 2021-2024: Dems under Biden don’t say a word about Epstein. Anyone who is spreading that Trump is implicated in crimes related to Epstein, is simply proving they are ignorant to the entire situation and timeline. Trump is not Epstein’s buddy. Trump used the full force of the US government to take Epstein out, shut down his operation, seized his island, and threw his ass and jail. Trump has been after Epstein for 20 years. After Trump found out the monster that he was, Trump knew what he had to do. Trump is Epstein’s #1 enemy.

Trump has a timeline and he knows what his timeline is. He has much he has to get done much to accomplish and he knows that Epstein is frankly a distraction. It’s a significant distraction, but locking up a bunch of individuals does nothing to advance the United States in the world or fix the problems of the United States. He knows that and he’s focused on making America great again you hinge in the new you don’t go after the old and that’s what he does.

I honestly think one of the few missteps Trump made was not just releasing these files because he comes across fine. It's clear he did nothing wrong and its been confirmed now he was in fact an informant who worked against Epstein.

One has to wonder then… WHY is Trump’s name in the Epstein files THOUSANDS of times? WHY did Trump have such a visceral, and dismissive reaction to the idea of releasing the files in the first place? WHY did Trump go out of his way to call his most ardent supporters “stupid” and say he doesn’t want their support anymore for pressing for the release of the files? Basic human psychology dictates that someone who has nothing to hide, wouldn’t behave like this.
