Just put $1,000 into a polymarket bot I built with Claude code Asked it to find mispriced markets and to be conservative with sizing into each play. Got up to use the bathroom. Well,@metadao changed the sale structure this time and stated any extra commitments will lead to buybacks and buywall and no refunds at all. So,polymarket manipulation by sending funds to ico in the last minutes cannot work now,atleast thats what many thought. And in response to that,there is a little interest in @HurupayApp ico and less than 20% minimum commitment filled in the first few days. At the last minute,one of the degen deposited 1.1m into the sale and flipped the polyodds for 1 and 2 mil which is enough for refund to kick in as 3m$ commitment not met and also gains from polymarket as well. Its still a risky strategy because if another degen tried to do the same thing with size,chances are both get screwed if they look for quick flip. @metaproph3t is iterating and shipping to fix loopholes exist in system and degens still found a way now. But pretty sure they are playing with the fire now and it can burn their house if they are not careful. Still $META needs to fix a lot of things but atleast team is working which is very rare in crypto.

This just seems like a poorly organized plan by an otherwise thoughtful team. 1) Why would you use USDtb to back it, which is strictly worse than just holding BUIDL (what backs USDtb)? And it’s not as if BUIDL is a great yield. If you’re going to forgo yield, at least get that Blackrock-adjacent claim of using BUIDL. I hope they at least don’t get charged some kind of fee from Ethena - Ethena should be paying MegaEth. 2) Why does this exist? For the user, not for the issuer. Why do I, as a user, want to hold USDM vs USDC/T? ⬆️ This is, by the way, a question I don’t think most stablecoin issuers seriously ask themselves. You need to be solving a problem for users. I actually believe most chains should explore issuing their own “local currency”. But this just seems doomed for the typical throw-incentives-at-it-then-everyone-uses-USDC/T-anyways lifecycle. Blast of all chains probably had the most effective approach to this. They just force converted all your DAI, USDC, and USDT to USDB upon using the bridge. Huge head start and avoided fragmenting liquidity further. The thing about stablecoins is you really have to be obsessed with it over breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You can’t be a tourist. I think it’s going to be tough to simultaneously launch a successful chain and market a stablecoin that seems like its sole purpose is to send the interest to the chain in lieu of sequencer fees. MegaEth team needs to fully explain why I, as a user, want to use a brand new stablecoin that doesn’t even pay me anything vs USDT or other alternatives.

Hurupay is not a regular metaDAO IDO, it has no refund policy. means if they get even 100M commitment like previous sales they will take all the money. another thing, the team token unlock is not based on token performance. even though they have 3 year cliff, but i think even with this 250k monthly allowance is enough to enjoy life in the Bahamas. they have around 4 years of presence in the market, but nobody knows about them, they just went up after announcing the token sale with some gamified matrix. Why >30M is safe? by raising that amount it puts it at 77M FDV, i don’t think people are blind after throwing money in Ranger, then Trove and Space rug. positive note, it has a NeoBank narrative and working product, good deal if committed fund doesn’t exceed $7M, that puts it at 18M FDV, around the same FDV as Avici, and buyback will work as a flow, so not much downside... To put things into perspective… If Pandora does $1M in parlay volume, that’s $45k flowing to $ANON via staking and buyback. Scale that to $10M+ volume and you’re looking at very real buy pressure on thin liquidity.
