“Being a reply guy is useless”

“ it took me 7-8 years to build @sportfun” it feels like a dream come true. @AdamFDF_ reveals the journey behind his success.

my friend asked me if I had any tips for how to gracefully exit a convo at a party (of course I do!!!) this is an underrated skill - knowing how to leave a convo makes events way less stressful tips: > please don't look around desperately for an escape while they're talking to you > EVERYONE is having multiple conversations - it's okay to have a desire to move around > there's no need to apologize excessively or make it weird. just be friendly and confident. your energy matters more than the exact words > you might want to leave when: 1/ there's a natural pause in conversation 2/ the convo feels like it's run its course 3/ you notice they're looking around or seem ready to move on too my favorite exits: > start with a compliment first if it feels right: "this was such a fun conversation!" or "loved hearing about your [thing they mentioned]" > the classic - have another place to go: whether it's the bathroom, to grab a drink, get some food, or talk to a friend/host "I'm gonna go say hi to [friend/host] - great meeting you & will see you around!" > or the honest approach: "I'm trying to meet a few new people tonight - I'm going to go float around!" > or the let's talk later: "I'm gonna keep mingling but want to exchange numbers? would be awesome to grab coffee sometime" this turns your exit into a connection win babyyy!! -- take whichever feels most natural and practice till it feels right then go confidently float between conversations! there's nothing wrong with wanting to meet more people!! you've got it!!!
