@J0hnADouglas I made a lot of progress on a strategy war game about ant colonies once because I had the same line of thinking

every disco elysium copycat is uniquely nauseating, as if the sole lesson they absorbed from playing it is "people love this, and i want to reenact what is desired without any human feeling or understanding". the king of comedy of game ripoffs, a litter of pupkins

In Root, the Vagabond is often a pain in the ass for the other players. They sneak around the map doing their little quests, maybe sniping a few birds or cats. Don't seem to be a threat, just based on looking on the board. But then they rack up points and win out of nowhere. This is because everyone ignores them. If you play Root as one of the conventional wargame-type factions, you need to see the Vagabond as a rival on the same level of every other faction. That means you have to spend actions attacking them. Hit them whenever you get the chance. You can't kill the little racoon but you can damage his items enough that he has to sit out in the forest for a while to recover. If you ignore the Vagabond, he will win. So smack him down. Everyone at the table needs to know this.

@shmace I got invited to a guy’s Halo 3 birthday and it was a 16 player private lobby playing all sorts of customs modes for most of the day. It was so great I still remember it to this day and I didn’t even know anyone there (he was an acquaintance)

These indie devs are making an MMORPG NPC Simulator where you play as an NPC and manage your own shop😂 - Sell weapons, armor, and items to players - Assign quests to players - Trade with players and negotiate deals

Ironically the washed out effect from this quest is a little bit better an aesthetic for Calia the title is still INSANELY funny and lame. No one has ever called her that and its such a "Sylvanas from Temu" move from the BFA/SL writers

@Sakyomum Classic did a better job of making the world feel huge. I think Cataclysm’s design made it a much more straightforward video game but it lost some that worldly feeling the process

I still mourn what Blizz did to Mulgore in Cata. I know technically it is more interesting, but making Brambleblade Ravine inaccessible was such a downgrade. I remember tip-toeing through it to avoid pulling Quillboar haha. The scale of classic WoW is what made it epic imo.

> Israel has nuclear weapons and will most likely use them if they sense defeat. > If Israel was somehow completely defeated (unlikely) then we would still have the Jewish problem, the Jews created the Russian Revolution, WW1 & WW2 before Israel was created in 1948. > If Jews succeed in taking complete control of the Middle East & creating Greater Israel then we will have a massive Jewish problem. > If Jews totally fail in the Middle East then the Jewish problem would be even more immediate and extreme because they would be interested in an immediate & endless World War in order to gain back what they lost.
