Someone shared this after running up a nearly $1,500 dinner bill and being shown suggested tips close to $300. They left $25 instead and say the staff’s attitude changed immediately. Do you think that’s fair, or are tip expectations getting out of control?

Tips used to be a way to express thanks for great service, and now these greedy servers are expecting 20-30%? For what? You brought a few plates out and a few drinks. Basic customer service.
