@Y3llxwMvmbvMUFC @ksuraj7 @Mam_ljh @ApexJones22 Retroactive testing. That’s the entire point. The people taking the drugs come up with ways to beat drug tests. They had literally tested his pee, passed the test, and then over a decade later they were finally able to detect it in the pee that had previously passed.

LeBron is a juicehead and everybody knows it. When the PED truth is fully exposed, all you dick-riders will go silent just like LeBron has been for 23 years. Not a mumbling word. Not from him. Not from his team. Not from his paid media puppets. Complete radio s

@cryptonomics12 @jjmaples55 My guy. No. Even if you take the median player you would be wrong. Simply say you hate them and refuse to say anything. That would be more logical and true.

@JoshReynolds24 They need to scale their vote totals to percent of games played. If you get 100 votes and played 80% of games, you get 80 votes. This way someone who plays 64 games doesn’t lose an award to someone who played 67, but they might lose it to someone who played 78

Seeing every single NBA media personality on this app who celebrated the Joel Embiid 65 game rule being put in place now change their opinion is really something… It’s just further proof that Joel Embiid is the most under appreciated & over-hated player in the entire NBA

People talk a lot about tilt when they're losing. But don't forget that when players are on big winning streaks, they might also be playing worse—aka winner's tilt. Overconfidence can lead to decisions that are just as bad. Players are often completely unaware of this kind of tilt because they aren't experiencing the negative emotions like they do when losing.

@esharp73 @LegendOfWinning Who cares. CEO of my last startup had a multi million dollar mansion on a lake and we never turned a profit. The owners must be confident in future success.

@ReignBlurple @jjmaples55 I’m just adding some context for people interested. Have no issues with women bball players making more money. I think the owners of the teams are more than capable in their negotiating without my input.

I have an idea for the Oscars. What if at the end of every decade there's a Movie of the Decade that's totally retrospective, and it can't have won Best Picture at the time? The movie with staying power? So for the 1990s it probably would have been something like Goodfellas,

@Mavloneus @cryptonomics12 @Rainmaker1973 We are not talking about adults. We are talking about school aged children. They should be taught how to cook, not just left to the internet to go find it themselves, because we already see it today... they don't.

@suchnerve We really just need to outright ban big trucks. If you’re a tradesman you’re driving a sprinter van anyway, not an open bed truck. It’s purely performative. I know a guy that ran over his own kid, killing her, and his brothers sold his truck… only to buy him a different truck.

Sedans have got to make a comeback. I am so tired of seeing SUVs everywhere! (The small SUVs get a pass, but they’re on thin ice.) ***it should be implicitly understood that robust, fast, cheap public transit would be far better than continuing to rely on cars***

@cafreiman Totally agree, and most things have unseen surge pricing. The added cost imposed by a super busy Starbucks is the time waiting in line. I’d bet if Starbucks had two lines, one with regular prices and one with surge pricing, a lot of people would pay extra to skip the line

Surge pricing is good—if a store is running low on ice cream (for example), it can conserve the supply by instantly raising the price and reserve the remainder for those who value it the most (plus, the store can quickly lower prices if a product isn’t selling).
More Perfect Union@MorePerfectUS

Walmart is rolling out digital price tags at all of its stores. At the same time, the corporate giant just secured a patent for "dynamically and automatically updating item prices.” Plus another patent for using machine learning to predict demand and recommend prices.

@themoviedadsc I had a similar opinion about a class teaching how to do your taxes and people lost their mind 😂 I’m all for electives for this type of stuff but most kids just aren’t in the financial position for it to matter. And if it wont be used for 4+ years, they’ll have forgot it all

I don’t really care all that much, but the solution should be scaling votes received based on games played. If i play 90% of games, I lose 10% of my vote total (or some variant). This way someone who clearly had a better season isn’t losing an award to someone who played 3-4 more games
Bobby Marks@BobbyMarks42

Cunningham has 60 qualified games played and is currently short of the All-NBA criteria. The Pistons have 14 games remaining. Cunningham earned All-NBA last season and as a result, saw his rookie max extension increase from $222M to $269M.
