At dinner ~two weeks ago in the Bahamas, @zmanian articulated how Terra’s implosion would be LTCM-style blow up and lead us into bear market. We each guessed how long would take. @zmanian said imminent. @lalalavendr said one month. I said one year. Key to life is smart friends.✌🏼

You shrink as you age. It begins by the age of 30, and gets steeper between 60-70 years. Most people lose 1–3 inches in height over their lifetime. Men can lose up to an inch per decade after 70, and women even faster, especially post-menopause due to bone density loss. You can counteract (and reverse) this with weight training, vitamin D, calcium, and good posture. Source: Moayyeri et al., 2008 (J Gerontol); Villareal et al., 2017 (JAMA).

No shed yet (and we've been working on it for 30+ years) but the mag-lev skyscraper is definitely coming soon!

Best friend from college is visiting. He got in late last night. We had grand plans for the weekend. Instead we woke up super late, have spent most of the day sat next to each other, working on laptops. We keep laughing about how this is like undergrad. Some things never change!

An update.... There are no updates. The money from the swaps service never landed. Seth never replied with any answers. It's been 12 hours. This is going to dox some things but at this point I don't care. I care more about being accused of lying than I care for financial privacy. And I don't even want the sats anymore. I am writing Cake off as the second worst software wallet experience after Ledger Live. Cake is clearly a scam wallet and they cannot be trusted. Best to avoid them entirely. grok.com/share/bGVnYWN5…

Just tried swapping Zcash I was gifted using Cake wallet and the experience was extremely buggy, slow, left me with dust that I don't want after multiple days of trial and error and just generally confirmed why shitcoins suck and aren't at all worth bothering with Bitcoin only

If you look at the public filings, there is some serious fuckery going on with @Solmate. I'm a patient investor, but what I'm seeing looks like a clear breach of fiduciary duty, and what I can only describe as an enrichment scheme by certain board members.

Unfortunately using a full implementation of Shor's breaking ECC32 bit keys may only provide 3-9 months of warning before ECC256 is broken by the exact same code running on a larger quantum computer. The reasoning behind the short timespan is mostly architecture related, and the challenges at performing collaborative networking and cycling of qubits. There is not a 'good metric.' The quantum computing industry has created and discarded multiple metrics, including measuring execution volume, gates counted in different ways, total qubits, logical qubits, error corrected qubits (can be different, because there are over 1000 error correction codes and not all logical qubits even work in the same way), operations before error, active volume, etc. There is no cross vendor or cross architecture measurement that works well. Qubits is the best measurements because they are fundamental to everything. 6100 neutral atom qubits is the current record by CalTech. Maybe QuEra will make 2 of their system from last year, give them each a laser, do the minor work to make them collaborate and then be in the number 1 slot again. Maybe a paper will fudge the numbers (again) similar to A ton Computing from a few years ago. Maybe networking will take off and we will need to add several more dimensions. Clear, plain language explanations may be the best metric. Understanding what that means is *hard.*
