The Catholic view is that Joseph knew Mary was a consecrated virgin before marrying her so he did not expect the marital embrace The protestant view is that Joseph expected an ordinary marriage and God pulled a bait and switch. He didn't. But even if He did, just like you chose to happily abide by your vows to your wife that you took in front of God. Joseph would've happily obliged too.

EMFs are really so crazy, have y’all heard that story about the guy who kept getting symptoms only in his bedroom like perfectly fine all day but the moment he’d lie down his heart would start racing his sleep felt shallow he’d wake up at the exact same times every night so he blamed his phone removed it blamed WiFi turned it off even shut the mains every night and still nothing changed so he started thinking something was wrong with him like stress or his heart or something deeper until one day he borrowed a Safe and Sound Pro II RF meter just to rule it out and the readings went completely insane the second he brought it near his bed so he started scanning the walls and found out there was a smart meter mounted right behind where his head rested but the weird part was it wasn’t constant it was sending out short high bursts at the exact same intervals he kept waking up at every night he checked the timestamps and they matched almost perfectly he had basically been sleeping with his head inches away from a pulsing RF source hitting him in timed bursts all night long for months and the worst part is he did everything right and still missed it because there was nothing to see nothing to hear it was just… there

Okay. That’s not semantics though lol. The point is that Hawat and the senior Atreides staff is shown to consider every angle and possibility, to the point of seriously suspecting Jessica. Meanwhile Yueh is above any suspicion because of the Suk school and his Imperial Conditioning. It shows that even thousands of years in, they don’t really understand what it is and they just blindly take it for granted. It’s an oddity that a Mentat wouldn’t suspect him and that he isn’t scrutinized. It’s a massive oversight.

@hicsfh @gally420 Semantics. Also, if I remember, Yueh is internally freaking out over having to discuss the subject with Jessica. But he's able to mask his deception with stress and hatred. Jessica does note that it's possibly deception but dismisses it as hatred

You got me there. But to be clear I only want to enslave people who run slop accounts like yours. Slavery would at least be a higher and more noble calling than the one you’re currently pursuing.
