I'm delighted to share Measurements in Geochemical CDR, a document that brings together the range of analytical techniques in the field. Free from here doi.org/10.17861/2GE7-… @bastianinilaura @Liam_Geochem @VeronicaFurey @GeoloJess_ @olivia_hawrot @WillKnapp18 @_sashawilson_

This is so unusual. That's a *huge* amount of energy being transferred to the atmosphere. Expect extreme temperature and storm records. Just the top few metres of our oceans store as much energy as the entirety of our atmosphere. I'm very concerned for later this year into 2024.

In the current issue of @ScienceMagazine @geoCcycle discusses the Earth's persistent thermostat - weathering - and how it is thought to be central in keeping the planet warm enough, and not too cold, by providing a stabilizing feedback in the carbon cycle science.org/doi/10.1126/sc…

Carbon; it's about time! ⏰ The carbon cycle operates over a range of timescales, from slow tectonic uplift to rapid strong acid reactions. If you're interested in what makes the carbon cycle tick, submit an abstract to session 9G @goldschmidt2023! conf.goldschmidt.info/goldschmidt/20…

Only one week left to submit your abstracts for @goldschmidt2023! If you’re interested in sharing your research in carbon capture, utilisation, and storage, make sure you submit an abstract by next Wednesday March 1st at 23:59 CET! We look forward to a great week of science!

Thank you @EarthshotPrize. This nomination is recognition of the role our carbon mineralisation technology can play in fixing our climate. We look forward to working with you as we grow and eliminate more CO2 from our atmosphere forever. #EarthshotPrize #EarthshotBoston2022
