I tried to report this to support and last night and it said it was send another one however after checking this morning it has got stuck in a loop saying I need to buy a replacement now! It also appears not to be possible to speak to an actual person.

Okay, slightly less impressed with @Starlink now. After my gen2 died, Starlink support sent me a brand-new gen3 free of charge. So far so excellent - however the GEN3 arrived with a mechanical defect. The cable connector is not aligned with the hole in the case making impossible to connect.

I’ve raised the issue with support and they’re sending me a new kit. I just wanted to make sure I’m not being stupid.

I Reported the problem to the Grok based service app and within a minute they had run a diagnostic, determined that the kit was defective,and ordered me a new one free of charge. Cannot recommend them enough.

Say what you like about @elonmusk - he sure does know how to set up a customer service system. I’ve been a Starlink subscriber for a long time and my kit died after a power outage.
