@jeffreywestling Yes, and the @ookla article says it ignores all speed tests with upload speeds over 100 Mbps, when many WISPs, @nxlink included, offer wireless upload speeds of up to 1 Gbps.

Comments from @ctaiken help illustrate the problem with Ookla data. It is valuable, but often misses context that sheds light onto the numbers.

Interesting piece from @Light_Reading on an Ookla WISP speed test report. Most interesting to me is just how much better than average Starry is doing compared to other region WISPs. But, remember that Ookla data misses a variety of factors that can influence results.

@dmbrake @nxlink The C-Band auction method constricts that supply & averages in urban areas with the rural: only companies doing urban mobile need bid for those licenses. CBRS did a lot better at attracting diverse/rural bids

@ctaiken @nxlink seems to indicate there is demand for cheap spectrum for rural coverage, not a success of complex dynamic sharing systems

One big success story of #CBRS is rural coverage, not urban capacity. For example, this is @nxlink's CBRS map as of EOY 2022. And we've lit far more since then.
