@ADFcb_ First choice right back destroyed his knee, legendary left back is leaving, centre back signed was 18 and did his ACL. 2 forwards left and 1 died last summer and only 2 came in, one broke his leg and the other ruptured his achilles. Now an all time winger is also leaving.

Sometimes listen to me always ..Arsenal were always winning the league despite their little wobble . Every team has one it’s just that theirs came at end of season. But they’ve regrouped and will stutter over the line. Arteta and the Arsenal board deserve it tbh after all the doubters . Congrats Arsenal football club

@Thelfc_Ace This is precisely why they should not give up too early. Underwhelming so far, but the talent is all there. KDB and Salah at Chelsea come to mind.

I hate to wade into inane ranking discourse but honestly the whole Benzema debate has annoyed me. Benzema was the best CF of his era. Better than Lewandowski/Kane/Rooney/Aguero/Suarez. Benzema literally completed football. He spent over 10 years at Real Madrid, has a trophy haul bigger than any other player other than Messi/Ronaldo, won countless Champions Leagues. But beyond the facts and figures, the way he played football was truly the beautiful game in its truest sense. He flowed like water on the pitch, he had every technique mastered, he was the smartest player on the pitch. And his peak, the two seasons building up to him winning the Ballon d’.Or? On my life, he was one of the most inevitable players I’d ever seen. The PSG, Chelsea and Man City matches in the CL, you just knew he was scoring or assisting. Everything he did just made sense, even if it was ridiculous to watch in the moment. The header he did from the edge of the box against Chelsea for example…ridiculous but the moment that ball was in the air and I saw his body was in the vicinity, I knew it was a goal before he even made the connection. It was a peak where he had the same sense of inevitability that R9 and Suarez had at their peaks. But unlike those two, his goals and contributions on the pitch were the defining contributions to a team which won countless Champions League’s in a row. And even more importantly, this was post-Cristiano Ronaldo. Technique wise he was the best CF of his generation. He scored more important goals than any of his peers too, even if he didn’t score the most. Personally for me the ranking is: 1) Benzema 2) Lewandowski 3) Suarez 4) Rooney 5) Kane 6) Aguero

@Common_SensePod Liverpool needs Anderson’s profile more than Wharton, because of his physicality and bite. Liverpool’s have technical players, but the Prem is physical, so they get bullied. Wharton helps passing from central/deep areas which is an issue since Trent, but doesn’t help physicality.

@ctfallows Liverpool don't have a natural #6 they have plenty of box to box players like Macalister, Gravenberch, Jones, Szobozlie. They don't need another player who reviences the ball and plays in forward.

@WestSideGoonerr @WastefulBlimp You are clearly too young to have ever seen Prime Henderson. His energy and hustle on the pitch was his best trait and basically unmatched at his best.

@WastefulBlimp First.Better at dynamic pressing and has way more energy.Second higher attacking output and final third presence. Which means more goals and assist. Finally elite progressive ball carrying and athleticism. If you know ball the answer is obvious🤣average G/A as well. Dec is higher

@deankinsella88 @GrizzKhan Story changes if they go down. Won’t be “cheap” but their leverage plummets if they need to sell players to balance the books. They won’t give him away but he also won’t be the top of his value.

@nolensflare @Louis_Beneventi Slot won the league at a canter last season… so was rightly praised, just as he’s been rightly criticised this season. But in general, I dislike Neville doing United games, Carra doing Liverpool games, Smith doing Arsenal games etc. Bias is inevitable.

@ctfallows @Louis_Beneventi Fair enough but it’s crazy how Carragher and Neville commentate on rivals games when they’re clearly not impartial. Carragher might be critical of Liverpool but they rarely praise rivals like Arsenal. I also distinctly remember him fawning over Slot last season.

@nolensflare @Louis_Beneventi Carragher is relentlessly critical of Liverpool, almost overly so at times. He was slating the performances and tactics then they were 5 wins out of 5 at the start of the season, even directly to the manager.

@Charlanardo @MrEko2001 @brodders_be @WilliamHill No idea how it survived as I hammered offers between 2018-2021 ish, but just never got restricted. Was just lucky I assume, so can’t complain. Will play it extra safe the next few weeks though for sure.

@Charlanardo @MrEko2001 @brodders_be @WilliamHill Had the account for near 10 years. So I’m planning on using it the same way I always have, but make no withdrawals, then add a few more £5/10 bets on big events (CL/big races, things casuals bet on). Keep my activity similar to normal but with a sprinkle more muggy stuff.
