Not a political person. But I am in media.
This happens when the "media" - who is, by definition is supposed to be "unbiased" - spends a decade painting one candidate as evil and one who can do no wrong.

The failures are profound and questions must be answered about ground surveillance, air surveillance, post-stander support, and counter-sniper advance work and response.

I don’t like Trump. I don’t respect Trump as a leader. But I am saddened by what happened today. He is worthy of love as a human and child of God. I will pray for him and his supporters that were in Pennsylvania today.

Although we don’t yet know exactly what happened, we should all be relieved that former President Trump wasn’t seriously hurt, and use this moment to recommit ourselves to civility and respect in our politics. I was Deputy Staff Director of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee when Joe Biden was Chairman and Tony Blinken was Staff Director. I love and respect the President. I am phenomenally grateful for his lifetime of service. But if he does not soon announce that he will not accept the Democratic nomination, he will be betraying the party and the country to which he has so honorably dedicated his life.
