@RogueDarren Army life,student night (thurs) out till 0400 drinking everything in sight,pump and dump your piggy,hit camp at 0550 fri,muster 0630 for 12 mile run/cos pt (logs,25kg pack etc),smash that do normal days work,fall out,drive home/venue,continue drinking=won firefights on ops.🤷‍♂️

In college I once stayed up all night drinking, was crossing the street when a car of guys from my rugby team pulled up and said they were short for the away game (I wasn't schedule to play), and needed bodies. Took a 1.5 hour nap on the drive, played a full game, then had beers again. But 3 glasses of wine breaks a 33 year old. Jesus. To be fair, it gets harder as you get older. And I drink less at 42 than I did at 33. But being this soft is still a problem.

The sheer scale of the venom being directed at Celtic and their fans is more than just about football. It is rooted in Scotland's baleful legacy and history of anti-Irish Catholic racism and bigotry. We were on our knees as a community when Celtic was established in 1888. In 2026 we stand tall. And the reason we do stand tall is largely because of Celtic, and how the club has provided us with a sense of pride in an identity that is rooted in defiance not compliance.
