IndiGo's Mumbai-London flight took 11:43 yesterday. BA & Virgin took 9.5h, while Air India took 10h.
But it gets worse! IndiGo's Delhi-Manchester is underway, also taking long way round: 50% longer than great circle route & will take 13-14h!
This is unsustainable & presumably they're expecting EASA to relax limit on Oman & Saudi airspace!

IndiGo really getting the short end of the stick between India & UK! 🇬🇧BA & Virgin utilising Pakistani airspace 🇮🇳Air India can’t use Pakistan but still able to use Oman & Saudi 🇮🇳🇳🇴IndiGo can’t use Pakistan but also can’t transit Oman & Saudi (using wetleased Norwegian aircraft). Routing via Djibouti adds >1000nm over great circle route on BOM-LHR -> 28% longer 😕
