CONNECTICUT: I personally know 2 American citizens with Art degrees living locally in New Haven who would love this job at the Peabody Museum. FACT: Yale already has a student currently on a J-1 or F-1 visa they want to give this H-1B job to for their "pathway to citizenship."

Enough with the nonsense. Betsy entered the convention with more than 15% support—well above the threshold—and the numbers only grew. By Friday evening, she had surged past 20%. Participation isn’t cheap: a five-minute speech costs $5,000; a three-minute video another $5,000. She never would have made that investment without real backing. Delegates poured into her campaign suite, burning through $500 in beverages alone while dozens of uncommitted voices showed up to stand with her. She had crisscrossed the state for months, meeting with RTCs and earning commitments that suddenly, and conveniently, “vanished” on convention day. Betsy never believed she could win the convention itself—nor was that ever the goal. After Erin’s withdrawal, a primary was the only principled path to let the voters decide. The State GOP simply refused to take that chance. They would not risk letting the constituents have their say. This is not sour grapes. Betsy conceded and endorsed Ryan immediately. But the truth matters: the process was engineered to silence the very people it claims to serve.

Convenient that all that stuff happened with Erin right before the convention and Betsy didn’t get enough nominations? @benproto59 didn’t want a primary. People should find out whose arms were twisted by this thug. I do believe that the Republican Party should’ve had a primary. Anytime they use the wording, we are all in this together and we need to unite. You should be suspect. A leopard doesn’t change his spots overnight. He didn’t wanna get burned like he did with the Leroy and Klarides primary.
