@ThePrimeagen i think this is mostly for web stuff because ive noticed gpt/claude can autocomplete almost any web task particularly stuff that takes engineers a lot of time. Like formatting a date in a specific format or generating boilerplate. it has saved a lot of time for me there

That's it, AI development stream coming soon I just never believe this and there ain't no way it's this good, but I'm willing to be wrong

@neetcode1 I use LLMs a lot mostly as a search engine but never fully relied on for a full implementation. We're a ways away from that

I just don't understand, am I not doing it right? Anytime I need to accomplish something of medium difficulty, LLMs waste my time. Using them for snippets is fine, but who is writing / designing their application with them? If you're building something so simple that you don't even need to write a quick doc to list out edge cases or design tradeoffs then sure. I would love to watch a non technical person recreate neetcode.io, covering every edge case. And my site is pretty simple compared to most.
