Parliamentary catering services receive £5.8 million annually in taxpayer-funded subsidies, allowing for lower-priced meals and drinks for MPs on £90,000+ and their Lordships om £300+ a day, the very same people whose policies have plunged voters into a cost of living crisis.

If @RachelReevesMP is coming to her constituency in #Leeds this weekend she should look around at the price gouging going on in petrol stations around the city.

I work at the DWP and last night I watched @collettasmith report for @BBCPanorama I wondered if those two families earning good money were struggling how on earth households on less than £15,000 are coping because sadly there are many ?

Before starting my pilgrimage last week, I chaired a gathering of the Presidents of @ChurchesEngland. A joy to welcome new colleagues, including Archbishop Richard Moth and His Grace Bishop Hovakim Manukyan, as we commit to the Presidents’ Covenant - a shared journey of unity, prayer, and common witness. I look forward to welcoming Presidents of Churches Together at my Installation at Canterbury Cathedral on Wednesday.

@Keir_Starmer You rightly condemn this attack @Keir_Starmer . Its a pity when Israel murdered Palestinian Red Cresent paremedic crews and buried them and their ambulances, on the side of the road you werent has vocal .

The antisemitic arson attack in Golders Green is horrifying. I’ve been in touch with Jewish community leaders this morning and will continue to do so throughout the day. An attack on our Jewish community is an attack on us all. We will fight the poison that is antisemitism.

Starmer has never progressed from the programmed mindset he was indoctrinated with when he set about demonising Jeremy Corbyn and expelling him from the Labour Party. Every utterance has got to be supportive of Israel and Zionist objectives. Everything counter to that mindset is labelled anti-Semitic. Real atrocities are diminished, ignored altogether and brushed under the carpet. There is something disturbingly unempathetic and sociopathic about the man. No feeling, no sympathy, no perspective and no mature responses to these situations. Absolutely chilling.

John is correct. Starmer values 4 empty ambulances in London, more than the murder of 44,000 Semitic Palestinians in Gaza. Even when the Israelis murdered an ambulance crew and buried their ambulance, his only response was "There’s got to be an investigation into that"
John Wight@JohnWight1

Not once did the word 'horrifying' issue from his lips throughout the Gaza genocide. Not once.

William’s ‘quiet faith’ is just a polite British way of saying he is a CEO who doesn’t believe in the product. We are clinging to a hereditary system that forces a secular man to roleplay as a religious leader. It is not a tradition; it is a farce. Bin the lot. #AbolishTheMonarchy #SupremeGovernor

At least William has confirmed his support for the Church of England. Proving you do not have to go to church every week to be Christian. gbnews.com/royal/prince-w…

@Fletcher4Mayor Let us be fair the only christian church in the UK that can fill pews on Sunday regularly is the Catholic church , its been a long time since the so called established church could do that.

The answer isn’t anger. It’s going back to church. There has been a lot of anger this week about Muslims praying in Trafalgar Square. Britain is a Christian country and our laws, culture and heritage have been shaped by Christianity. But if we believe in freedom of religion and free speech, those freedoms must apply to everyone, even when we don’t like it. Let me be clear; I didn’t like seeing those scenes in Trafalgar Square either. However, what strikes me is that many people who complain about other religions practising their faith rarely practise their own. If we want to protect our Christian heritage, our culture and our country, the answer isn’t anger; it’s going back to church. Come back to church. Because Christ is King. And this is a Christian country.
