@FutureAZA Now here is an idea, I guess one of the big cost factors is that heavy stainless steel, what if we change it to the Robotaxi plastic. I assume it's lighter, thus requires a smaller battery.

@chris_borns I think they heard Elon talk about unboxed manufacturing and thought they could do it better. Take whatever front of a car and glue it to the a sprinter van and call it done.

$160k per truck they took the Workhorse entry design and Oshkosh is building it. So what did we get?
• Bad aero
• Back door they aren't allowed to use for entry
• Build slapped and glue together by a drunk robot.
• Aluminum construction
• Improved fuctionality
The thing is crazy expensive for what it is.

We chose to buy a car without a glass roof 5 years ago. We were testing various EVs and it was the hottest summer week. Me & wife didn't like the extra heat from above. Will be test driving some EVs this summer. Hopefully glass roof internal shades have improved.

Tesla China has released its first ever retractable sunshade for the Model Y for 1,499 yuan ($236 USD). Very easy to install. I hope they launch this globally, because I will absolutely buy this.

@MarFot78 @SebAaltonen Completely replacing the glass is 2000 usd including the labor to install it. What did undenting your roof cost? Did it need painting?

@MarFot78 @SebAaltonen Try and hit your roof with just enough force to dent it, try to apply the same force to your front windshield, see how much it will break.

@curacars @SebAaltonen I had a dent in a roof which could be repaired. Glass is stiffer, so it would beake into parts.

Russian sources are reporting the beginning of mine-laying operations along sections of the land corridor to Crimea, particularly on the Mariupol–Melitopol highway.
If implemented on a larger scale, such mining could significantly reduce the speed and density of military traffic moving through the corridor. Combined with ongoing drone strikes, it would force Russian forces to contend not only with threats from the air, but also with the constant risk of mines on the ground, further complicating logistics and movement.

This isn’t Luce-specific; this is how you buy the top Ferraris. By buying other, lesser models first.
