If everyone in Hindi speaking states ( Up /Br/ DL/ MP | Jr ) will learn 2 languages Hindi plus English, we from Tamil Nadu when we go north can use English to communicate with them. Our two language policy will work wonders. But the problems is people in Hindi heartland want to learn only one language and they order us to learn 3 languages, while they learn only one language which is Hindi, Will @annamalai_k dare to reply For this ?

We should go from glucose based metabolism back to fat based metabolism. That’s how our ancestors lived. The British and Americans made us hate Ghee/Butter/Fat based system and made us stuff our bodies with sugars which lead to these epidemics. Let’s shift back to our ancestral way of eating habits.

Dalmiya truly understood the money machine that Indian cricket was. He armed twisted ICC to get India as the host of 1996 WC when England was the top contender And when few teams refused to play in SL due to risk of terror, he created a Wills XI made of Indian and Pak players. Wills XI played few matches in SL against SL. The matches broke all the viewership records. This meant 1996 WC ad slots went for a premium and the first set of mega bucks arrived at BCCI. In 1998, as ICC chairman he created ICC knockout tournament which hosted by BD. The money from this tournament meant ICC finally had a lot of cash and muscle power over ECB/Aus/NZ. That cash was used as leverage and going forward all the World Cups were called - ICC World Cup. Not prudential WC or Wills World Cup. ICC World Cup. He was more influential to cricket than any player alive or dead. He created the alliance of Ind + Pak + BD + SL to get the majority votes in ICC before the money power of BCCI overruled everyone. He built ICC. He made BCCI the money making machine. He gave Ganguly the free hand in 2001 which led to brave inclusions such as Bhajji, Zaheer, Yuvi, and Dhoni in the team. Whether it was kicking Mike Dinness or Srini mama, his politics and acumen always won!
Gappistan Radio@whyteknight07

Thanks to the algorithms spying on us, YouTube short about Dalmiya popped up after this. And I learnt that before Dalmiya came into BCCI as treasurer, BCCI used to pay Doordarshan to telecast cricket matches. Imagine that, BCCI paying a channel to show matches….

India is a country gone MAD, jesus christ, this level of dumbfuckery is bone-chilling. And the silence of citizens. How is the AGE of a car MORE relevant than it's maintainence? This is common sense 101, but it seems 150 crore Indians all have lost it.

This is the most embarrassing and shameful moment I’ve ever witnessed from the Oval Office. American leadership publicly siding with a Dictator in Vladimir Putin and berating a democratic friend in Ukraine will not be forgotten by any nation around the world.

ZELENSKYY: Putin broke the ceasefire. What kind of diplomacy, JD, are you speaking about? VANCE: I think it's disrespectful to come into the Oval Office and try to litigate this in front of the American media

@RobkinB5 @Ekalavya230 There are trusts for inheritance. I already have a trust for my current wealth anyways. Additionally, it’s unlikely I will be partnering with an Indian citizen as I rarely am in India. I spend 1 month in a new city every month. (Mostly out of India).

@sanjeevsanyal I have never seen delays in security checking and checking boarding pass/ ticket and ID before entering the airport as well. 30+ countries so far. Additionally, agree with what you are saying.

A question to anyone who understands airport security. A common phenomenon in Indian airports is that one is asked for the boarding card at the boarding gate, and then again 30 seconds later at the aircraft gate. At the latter, some number is manually struck off a chart. What exactly is the point of this, especially with aero bridge boarding ? I have never seen this in any other country. Is this a candidate for process reform?

@RMantri Every airport contract goes into crores (white money) on top of bribes. Then further AirPort authorities make money between 4-8% commissions. Let’s just say I know of a global company that paid INR 55 crore for 5 years rights of an airport & pay 4-8% margins & lose money.

The Udan Yatri Cafes are yet another symptom of how anti-business the climate is in India! ndtv.com/travel/udan-ya… Private firms would have paid to take concessions at airports. They wake up one day to find a heavily subsidized government run cafe giving cheap food - running their private operation into the ground. Now why was the privately run cafe's food and beverage offering expensive? It has also got to do with the revenue maximization mindset of the government - they want to extract every paisa possible. Thus you have tea sold for Rs 200. Then upon outrage by travellers, the solution is to launch "Udan Yatri Cafe". The cycle of stupidity is thus completed.
