Not related to AMCA but in general, AP will have a competitive edge on land heavy investments over TN for the sheer reason that it has vast amounts of poromboke lands that can give at throw away prices unlike a >50% urbanised state like TN. Just in past 3-4 years(even from Jagan’s time) there were multiple projects of >2000 acres allotted to industries/defence. Rayalseema has a lot of land and Telugu ppl are the best at monetising it.

0-1 is difficult. Once momentum is gained there is something called Snowball effect. That will kick off. PVNR with his policy and NCBN with his enterpreneural zeal got Hyderabad from 0 to 1 by 2003 already. Does Hyderabad have the capital to make this happen? Absolutely. Would it happen automatically regardless of efforts by NCBN? No. Btw, 2000-03, India witnessed a slowdown with 3-4% economic growth. 2003 was perticularly difficult year. Then, India started to rise. It was growing 8.8% btw 2003-08. Reforms started paying off fully. Cities that made efforts to bring and establish service sector by then got benefited out of this momentum. YSR didn't roll Hyd back. But, one can't credit him with "ఐటీ రంగాన్ని అభివృద్ధి వైపు నడిపిన నాయకుడు" and such. YSR can be credited for other industries in Hyd, but not IT.

IT exports in 2004 - 5K crore. IT exports of AP in 2009 - 36000 crore. That’s 7x increase. YSR did not definitely stall Hyderabad’s growth. Infact, more core IT companies setup their shop in his regime than under CBNs. I am a witness to this. The share of Hyderabad in IT services sector was lesser than the BPO sector in 2004. That picture changed during the YSR years. While doing this, he did not neglect agriculture or irrigation or social welfare. That makes him stand out in comparison.

A fact the CBN fanbois conveniently forget is that, IT in AP existed before CBN and he did not start from zero as quite evident from the numbers. You can cross verify each of the numbers above and see for yourself. CBN definitely did good on the IT part, no doubt. But, those were a little behind of other Indian states for the same period. He cannot claim whatever he is claiming and most of his claims don't stand for scrutiny.

Every Dumeel should fall on the feet of the Brahmin Rajaji for stealing Chennai for them. Chennai was the capital of madras presidency not of just Tamil Nadu and it was contiguous with Telugu speaking people too. The reason it is which TN today is because it was decided so by Nehru on demand of Tambram Rajaji. But sure history can be twisted by the Dumeel regime as it did with the museum in fort st George that has been reduced to a propaganda piece. I only have sympathy for the Dumeels as I do with the North Koreans
