@Keir_Starmer Cut the theatre. You talk about "crackdowns" and "securing borders" as though a few raids and headline arrests will change anything. But the boats keep coming, the hotels keep filling, and the demographic transformation of Britain rolls on. This isn't about criminal gangs. It's about a political class that opened the doors, keeps them open, and dresses it up as compassion while dismantling the very nation it claims to serve. Illegal migration isn't an accident. It isn't simply the work of gangs. It is the sharp edge of deliberate demographic engineering - the same pattern we see from Canada to France, from Germany to Australia. The boats keep coming because your government waves them in. They are housed because councils are ordered to take them. They are kept here because the courts, the NGOs, and the "human rights" industry you protect make deportation all but impossible. This isn't a failure of the system. It is the system, working exactly as designed. And what does that system deliver? A native population made to feel like strangers in their own land. British families priced out of housing while hotels are filled with migrants. Schools where the children of taxpayers are sidelined, while parallel societies entrench themselves with state blessing. A country where the most common boy's name is Muhammad, while white, Christian birth rates collapse. This isn't mismanagement. It's replacement. And you know it. You boast of raids and arrests. We see them for what they are: token gestures to pacify public anger while the real pipeline stays wide open. You can throw around percentages, but the boats still land, the hotels still fill, and the demographics still shift. It's theatre, not border security. And here's the truth: you are not loyal to Britain or the British. You are loyal to the coalition that sustains you - the Leftist–Islamist pact in the cities, the NGOs, the courts, the supranational machine in Brussels and Davos. That machine does not want borders. It does not want nations. It does not want a people confident in their own heritage. It wants a fragmented, divided population: easy to manage, impossible to unite. So no, you won't secure the borders. You'll keep importing the electorate you want, while gaslighting the people who built this country into thinking resistance is "racism." That is the real business being run here - and it is far viler than any gang in Calais. Until Britain recognises this for what it is - deliberate demographic sabotage - no slogan, no crackdown, no "priority" of yours will change a thing. Because the truth is simple: the government isn't failing to stop the boats. It is choosing not to. "A country where the most common boy's name is Muhammad, while white, Christian birth rates collapse. This isn't mismanagement. It's replacement."

More black slaves were killed by Arab nations than the European ones. In any case, African rulers were killing and enslaving one another way before colonizers arrived here. Reparations for what? For who?

@Keir_Starmer Patriots don't open the nation's borders under the pious mask of "compassion." Patriots don't bleed working families with higher taxes while lavishing billions on NGOs, foreign regimes, and mass migration. Patriots don't sneer at Britain's history while bending the knee to supranational courts, foreign lobbies, and grievance-mongers demanding their pound of flesh. When Attlee built the welfare state, he did it to lift working Britons out of poverty after the war - not to open the system to the world. When Thatcher faced decline, she smashed through the defeatism of her age and forced the country to stand on its own two feet again. Both understood the essence of patriotism: that Britain must first and foremost serve her own people. This government does the opposite. If it was truly a government of patriots, the boats would have stopped, criminals would be deported, and our streets would be safe again. Instead, we have record migration, gangs ruling estates, violence on our streets, and police chasing tweets while families bury their dead. If it was truly a government fighting for working people, energy would be cheap, food would be affordable, and wages would rise. Instead, you flood the labour market, pile on regulations, and let inflation grind down every pay packet. You make announcements of "record funding" while queues grow longer and services collapse. Working people can't live on slogans. They can't pay bills with press releases. And if this was truly a government of patriots, law would be made in Westminster, not Strasbourg. Order would be upheld on our streets, not outsourced to NGOs. Borders would be enforced, not mocked. That is patriotism: security, sovereignty, stability. What you offer is none of that. You wrap failure in the flag and call it care. You feed the nation managed decline and tell us it's renewal. You dress treachery in the language of loyalty. Call it what you like. It isn't patriotism. It's surrender. It's betrayal. And working people see through it. They know what patriotism looks like, and it isn't you. "Instead, we have record migration, gangs ruling estates, violence on our streets, and police chasing tweets while families bury their dead."

This is a lie. A blatant lie. Not to mention a complete reversal of your campaign promises. This unconstitutional power grab will permanently rig Virginia’s Congressional maps and disenfranchise millions of Virginians. Virginia, VOTE NO.
Abigail Spanberger@SpanbergerForVA

Virginia’s redistricting referendum gives voters the power to respond. To a President who says he’s “entitled” to more GOP seats in Congress before Americans vote in the midterms. To efforts in other states to give those seats to him. Join me in voting YES by April 21.

I agree. After Bulgaria fought its independence from the Ottomans, the first constitution had a provision that every enslaved person that sets his foot in Bulgaria is immediately a free man / woman. Many enslaved women from Ottoman harems fled to Bulgaria to escape their captors. If we are to do this, we need to be objective about it. Slavery wasn't an uniquely European or American phenomenon. The Ottomans and the Arabs were arguably much higher on the list in terms of scope and scale. The Arab Slave Trades transported literal millions of Africans across the Indian Ocean and Sahara desert. Not to mention they have slaves to this day, but that is something nobody seems to want to talk about.

Mark my words: April 21st is quickly becoming a referendum on Democratic overreach in Virginia -- from gerrymandering to 2A restrictions to $6.3bn in tax hikes. They never campaigned on it and no one voted for all of that.

It is the world that should be demanding reparations from Ghana for slavery, not the other way around. Ghana used to be the Kingdom of Dahomey which captured most black slaves. Slaves that couldn't be sold to the Arabs were killed or eaten. These people have balls but not as big as our bombs. It's necessary to teach black people their history.

@business Two problems here; (1) we would need to include all instances of slavery current and historical (2) they will need to seek reparations in part from themselves.

Even ignoring the general absurdity of "reparations" for slavery, this is particularly ridiculous given that the only reason slavery in Africa ended at all was that the colonial powers, particularly the British, spent years and huge sums on having the Royal Navy extirpate slavery Without those years of expensive effort and colonial governance, the slave trade would still be ongoing in Ghana, and indeed everywhere else But the British will never be thanked, only damned and extorted for more "aid" money

@MichelleMaxwell Yes but apparently the VA General Assembly has 'final' word on ballot wording, hence why the word 'fairness' was allowed. Its wrong.

I learned this earlier today... Virginia Code § 30-19.9 states that ballot explanations must be written in plain English, must be neutral, and must not include arguments from either side. In other words, the wording presented to voters is not supposed to persuade, influence, or push voters toward a yes or no vote — it is supposed to simply explain what the amendment does. If we are going to follow the Constitution and the law, then the rules should apply to everyone — including the people writing the ballot questions. Neutral means neutral. Not persuasive. Not political. Not biased. Just the facts so the voters can decide. Official wording of the redistricting amendment is... “Should the Constitution of Virginia be amended to allow the General Assembly to temporarily adopt new congressional districts to restore fairness in the upcoming elections, while ensuring Virginia’s standard redistricting process resumes for all future redistricting after the 2030 census?” Does that sound neutral, non-persuasive, non-influential? Since this ballot question goes against current law, can Virginians sue to have it removed/overturned??? Any lawyers want to weigh in on this?

Someone is finally coming to reality that her party may lose this redistricting. All the money in world is not going to help when you lie about affordability and implement 50 new taxes. Also, it is does not pay to lie about “restoring fairness” they these are the maps.
