Exactly 8 years ago I landed in the USA with this ridiculous pile of suitcases & one big dream: to work in nuclear energy! This year’s H-1B season is wrapping up, and we’re seeing great results from @POTUS’ new policies that prioritize America First! Stay tuned for more updates, but here’s what we’re seeing so far: ✅More top talent: We’re approving more applicants with advanced degrees and higher salaries—especially those who studied at U.S. universities. An overwhelming 71.5% of selected aliens hold a U.S. master’s degree or higher, compared to 57% last year. ✅Stronger workforce: These skilled workers are making a real impact on our economy and we’re closing the door on the low-wage and low-skilled foreign labor pipeline approved under Biden administration policies. This year, only 17.7% of all selected registrations were in the lowest wage category. ✅Restoring integrity: The number of properly submitted registrations plummeted by 38.5%, from 343,981 in fiscal year 2026 to just 211,600 in fiscal year 2027. This data is a clear sign that the days of abusing the program with mass, low-wage registrations are over, and that the program is better serving its intended purpose of attracting highly skilled foreign workers and protecting the wages, working conditions, and job opportunities of American workers. The nuclear energy fuel cycle is made up of two phases: the front end and the back end. The front end prepares uranium for use in nuclear reactors. The back end ensures that used fuel is safely managed, recycled, or disposed of.

I went out with a guy from accounting for coffee. It was a casual first date. I ordered a standard latte, and he got a drip coffee. He insisted on paying, saying, "I got this, don't worry about it." It was $4.50 total. The next morning, I woke up to an email notification. He had sent me an Excel spreadsheet titled Date_Expenses_Itemized.xlsx. He had broken down the cost of my latte, added a 15% tip calculation, and factored in a prorated amount for the wear and tear on his vehicle for the 1.2 miles he drove to meet me. The grand total he requested via Venmo was $3.82. The Exit: I didn't reply to the email. I Venmoed him exactly $5.00 with the caption: "Keep the change, invest it in a therapist." Then I blocked him on everything.
