AI is the best and worst thing that could have happened to organisation designers.
I'm having more fun designing processes, ontologies, and systems for agents than I ever had. It's like org design minus all the politics and delays.
But it's so addictive I have to be really careful to not spend more time optimising how I work than actually working haha.
AI can now handle maybe 80% of the operational work, and 60% of the strategy work. So I can do the 60% of the system design work that I love doing and let AI handle the rest, and quickly run simulations and find edge cases.
I wish we had this in the early days of tokenomics and DAOs! It would have been amazing to experiment with designs when people were still open to trying left-field experiments in org design.

Yesterday regens from a range of experience levels took part in our #coordiNATION game to discuss web3 impact fundraising!
Some were curious to create their first crypto wallet, while others had active grants on Gitcoin.
Together we shared learnings, food, & new friends. 💚

That preferable scenario is not likely (1) because tunable personal AI undermines the monopolistic product control ethos of platforms and (2) that ethical incompatibility is programmatically unacceptable to Timnit Gebru-style AI ethics brand watchdogs. Strange bedfellows.

On the lobotomized, sanitized, throttled Gen AI models ("sorry no sex and death please, we're Americans"). Platforms see them as an expression of their company Brand. You are not allowed to say anything with them that Legal/ Marketing/HR think doesn't suits their voice.
