Hegseth says today, March 19, will be "the largest strike package yet" of the entire war, just like yesterday, March 18, was also the largest to that point.
Trump said on March 14: "We have already destroyed 100% of Iran’s Military capability"
So what are they still bombing?
@BrotherhoodCBB Factually? What fact are u reciting? The fact that they only lost by 6 to Duke? That fact means they are not a 16 seed? Really? But it’s a fact that the committee seeded them 16. So it is a fact that they are (were) a 16 seed. IF they make it next yr, they’ll be a 16 & lose again
I genuinely despise feeling the inclination to say this after a first round NCAA Tournament game, but it is objectively and factually true: Siena was not a 16 seed.
@HoopsWeiss enough with the Siena talk. They lost. They had a good year. IF they go to the tourney next season, they’re going to lose in the first round again. It’s not complicated.
🚨 Trump just threatened to nuke Iran:
“The power of some of this weaponry is unthinkable. You don't even want to know about it. You could end this thing in 2 seconds if you wanted to.”
Enough is enough. This is the second time he has threatened to use nukes.
REMOVE HIM NOW!!!
"The world & college basketball saw what I've been grateful to be around…group of kids who love each other…Crushed for them…played well enough to win…Damn proud coach"
– Siena's Gerry McNamara as his Saints fall just short of the ultimate upset––#1 Duke beats #16 Siena 71-65
DAN PUT THE ALLEGATION INTO THE CONGRESSIONAL RECORD.
Dan Goldman went to the House floor today and read a report- that was initially hidden by the DOJ- telling the story of Trump unzipping his pants, and forcing a 13-year-old to perform oral sex.
Do you approve?
Your thoughts?
I’m not overly concerned about losing out on Hodgson, but I’m overly concerned about rushing to hire gmac or Hopkins. Cuse needs to check off all the boxes and consider Luke Murray
Assuming Hodgson and Schertz are out. Here is the list of guys that I want to see us reach out to before settling on GMAC in order:
-Shaheen Holloway
-Jerrod Calhoun
-Eric Olen
-Phil Martelli Jr.
-Tony Skinn
-Takayo Siddle
Plenty of great coaches still out there.
@DougWahl1 fuck him, he’s another MAGA idiot. Trump doesn’t know any competent people. All he wants are ass kissers. He got burnt in his 1st term & is determined to not let that happen again. When history is told, R’s in congress will share the blame w/ Trump & a majority of the US media.
@BarryCuse It’s going to take several years, maybe longer, to ‘right the ship’. New AD seems capable, also need a capable HC. Biggest hurdle wb increasing the available NIL. Need better players!! I would settle for an NIT bid the next 1-2 yrs, then an NCAA bid by year 3. It’s a rebuild now.
I’m curious, what are the expectations for Syracuse basketball now?
No sarcasm, no BS. What are the expectations for you as a fan?
Growing up, it was a top 4-5 seed and a second weekend trip during the NCAA Tournament.
What do you believe? Seriously.
@HoopsWeiss It’s definitely not an elite program. The last 5 yrs have been mediocre at best. Boeheim rarely got A players, mostly B guys by design. His last 2 & the 3 yrs under AA have been with C players. And the 5 yr record bears this out. Zero NCAA tourney bids. That’s NOT elite.
Is Syracuse an elite program any more or merely just a second tier ACC team? Orange Basketball Has Been Turned Down By Their Top Two Head Coaching Options --Josh Schertz of Saint Louis and Bryan Hodgson of South Florida. I miss Jim Boeheim, Pearl, Melo.
@GoodmanHoops@TheFieldOf68 If he can sell out South Florid, he would do the same thing to Syracuse, he will regret it; Gerry is more decicated and is about to take down the mighty Duke. Pitino, or Bennett top coaches to go after though..
BREAKING: South Florida head coach Bryan Hodgson has turned down the Syracuse job, source told @thefieldof68.
It’s likely that Hodgson will decide between Providence and staying with the Bulls - who have put together a lucrative financial package similar to what Josh Schertz received at Saint Louis in an attempt to get him to stay in Tampa.
Syracuse’s Bryan Hodgson hunt gets more interesting. Instagram comments suggest this has been in the works for a long time. orangefizz.net/2026/03/instag…
@ShaneTuttleNCAA Never liked Duke. But I hope they beat Siena by 40 & shut up these jv players. It’s a ridiculous thing to say & I don’t want to hear that he’s only 19 or 20 yrs old. Fuck Siena & I’m an SU grad, class of ‘80.
16-seed Siena G Gavin Doty speaks on facing 1-seed Duke:
“The more I watch film, the more I know we can beat them. Them Boozers are gonna need more than a last name when they see me on the court.”
@TiffyR249358@CuseSportsTalk_ what am I missing? Doesn’t NIL $ go to the players? The coach gets a salary, fringe benefits & possible supplemental income from camps, radio shows, local endorsements, etc. 9 or 11m NIL doesn’t guarantee anything. SU had 8+m NIL & finished 15-17.
@CuseSportsTalk_ It's not all about the nil. If players crave that much money I'm good I'd rather have the kid more focused on the game then the money. Same goes with the coach.
"If Bryan Hodgson picks Providence [over Syracuse], it's pretty clear it's because Syracuse is still behind the curve in NIL."
Tim thinks Providence could make the fight for Bryan Hodgson a bidding war:
@MikeWatersSYR It’s a nice gesture on Kline’s part but a biased position imo. I’m not saying it’s an inaccurate opinion, just biased. Kline was also fired. People normally want to judge for themselves the character of an individual..when they can. A lot of good people get fired from their job.
Former Syracuse general manager Alex Kline pens a letter on what it was like to work for Adrian Autry.
"The greatest person I ever worked for.''
It's worth your time.
