Are we living through traumatic event after traumatic event, or are we just the first generation with worldwide communication and social media, and life has actually always been this horrific?

The most annoying thing about being human on Earth right now is the absolute waste of potential. Brilliant minds and artists could be solving world hunger, climate change, and ending cancer, etc. We could house, feed, clothe, and care for everyone. But instead, we’ve decided to let a handful of asshats become billionaires, start wars, murder and imprison people, and keep the majority in poverty while ruining the climate. It’s so stupid. The wasted ingenuity hurts to think about.

Not sure who needs to hear this, but preemptively announcing that you are going to pardon yourself, your family and your entire staff 1 year into your administration "for any crimes committed" is not the actions of a president not committing any crimes.

This is the leader of a party who can't get past 7% or 8% of core voters. He is obviously doing something that voters don't like. He clearly, though, thinks he's the cleverest MP ever.

National's tax cuts are costing more than $20b over four years - that's $100m a week. The Government’s fuel crisis support (going to 7% of families) costs $7m a week. They say they can't afford more. Gee, where did our emergency buffer go?
