@clhubes Slightly further afield: Rollingcrest Chillum splash pool in Prince George's for indoor and Martin Luther King Jr in MoCo for outdoor both have zero depth entry areas and great toddler sections.

@clhubes You're in Silver Spring, right? Children's floor at the Silver Spring library is terrific and has a play area and not just books. There's also a newly renovated indoor play area on the bottom level of the Ellsworth Place mall.

@clhubes @TranscendantM Hire help but be selective about how you use it! Books on bookshelves, linens in closet x, etc. If it's outside the few big categories you choose, leave it in the box. It won't all be just how you want it but you'll be able to find stuff, and walk across a room without tripping.

Update: this year's breakfast in bed started with bananas shoved in our faces as a joke, then moved along to scrambled eggs, brioche French toast, and cut strawberries. 9 year olds are great.

So glad we'd picked up a pedestrian safety flyer from the guy with a table at Veterans Plaza a couple blocks away. 🙄

Another near miss for us pedestrians at Fenton and Colesville. SUV came up Fenton fast in the wrong lane, passing cars waiting at the red light, nearly ran over us in the crosswalk, then ran the light to turn right/north on Colesville in front of other cars. Terrifying.

@ActiveModes Do you have any recent data on this broken out by income, etc.? Clearly we need high quality real-time info, but will phone apps reach most riders or should agencies be investing in more displays at bus stops?

I'm sick of this group of people (who should know better) talking about lack of smart phone adoption amongst low income riders. It's just not true, and we shouldn't keep solving for this problem that doesn't exist #TransportationCampDC
