It correctly pinned my wife to the Florida suburb of Miami she grew up in. The other two guesses were New Jersey and New York City, which mapped perfectly onto her respective parents. It can’t distinguish between Seattle and Salt Lake City, and only reliably chooses either based on a single question: the name of the bug with a hard shell and many legs that rolls up into a ball when you touch it.

A judge has ordered a mental health evaluation for a man accused of trying to push another person in front of an oncoming light rail train earlier this month near the Northgate station.
Surveillance video captured the suspect appearing to scope out the victim, then lunging to push him. When the victim managed to recover his balance, the attacker is seen trying to grab and push him again, with the victim narrowly avoiding falling into the path of the train.

if buying at market value, theyd be paying around 2B + accruing ~9B of debt. This would bring their current $8B of debt to 17. During 2025 they matched American Airlines' net profit, and I reckon they would be able to outperform at the very least AAL considering Alaska's strong leadership and loyalty. unfortunately I don't really see a point for Alaska as of now, nor do I think they'd take this risk, but we'll see

With just a simple $.05 zip tie you can temporarily disable any lime scooter that’s knocked over and blocking the sidewalk such that the company has to come and retrieve it.
It’s everyone’s job to look after the commons and re-internalize negative externalities.
