After a major snowfall, Torontonians saw the imbalance firsthand — when bike lanes were spotless but streets, sidewalks, and access to transit weren’t, it was clear City Hall needs to get back to basics on snow clearing.

@BradMBradford The bike lanes were far from spotless, don’t make stuff up. Even yesterday they were just getting cleaned up on Bloor. I guess you don’t cycle anymore so you don’t care, eh?

We're beautifying Toronto's bikeways! Last weekend, staff repaired 150 flexible posts, replaced 25 concrete curbs, and identified high priority routes that need permanent repair in the near future. Report damaged/missing posts or barriers in bikeways to toronto.ca/311.

Ford promised bike lane removals could happen today onward in TO (Bloor W, Yonge, & Uni). That means we’ve got to be vigilant! Eyes open! If you see construction crews amassing to remove lanes, post/tag local cycling orgs & advocates. Send pictures. Be safe & don’t interfere.
