@MPSRoyal_Parks No cars, no dead geese, no dead deer no injured cyclists. Why are cars allowed to use a park as a rat run?

Officers at #RichmondPark have been dealing with a road traffic collision between Kingston Gate and Ham Gate after the driver of a vehicle slowed to allow some geese to cross the road and a male on a bicycle collided into the rear of her vehicle and through the back window.

@JackBriggs0108 Rubbish. 90% of cycling and staying alive on the roads is about paying attention with your eyes, not your ears. That goes for drivers too; paying attention with your eyes that is.

I think a law should be introduced banning cyclists from wearing earphones whilst they are cycling . As it stops them from hearing approaching vehicles from behind .

@TollingtonLTN @WandsLS It's funny you say that. I was wondering earlier if I could apply for a parking permit for some form of cycle storage. It turns out I can -- if it's some form of motor vehicle!

Funny how cycle hangers are put to consultation yet anyone can park a car wherever they like.

FYI @OWandsworth @opentooting @WandsLS @Wandscyclist Kind of perfect example as to why we need to have safe alternatives for most people to get around. If too many people drive cars, there just isn't the space to go around!

I haven't cycled for a year. My confidence has gone. This LTN covers where I had two of my most serious collisions. In both cases, the police found the drivers - who were rat-running - to be at fault. Please sign.
