@baldestamigo @john_pog @DaddyCoffee73 I think it’s unfortunately a case of the minority spoiling it for everyone else. There are some people using it as an excuse for racism and others using it to divide people rather than bring them together.

Genuine, true patriots want the public to celebrate their pride in the flag. People won’t do that as long as far right bad actors weaponise it to cause division. So call it out, remove flags on motorway bridges which serve no purpose other than to try to intimidate. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧

Every business has real stand out people who you can rely on to go the extra mile, make the right decision or just to be 100% loyal to the cause. Mario Rebellato was that man and more, a former Italian tank captain who worked 40 odd years for Austin Reid, followed by a stint in the late (Sir) John Prescott’s office, before ‘retiring’ at 65!! He knocked on my door asking for a van cleaning job, which he was clearly he was over qualified for. From that moment on I knew he would be my right hand man. That was 17 years ago! What a man! And when he wasn’t with me he was volunteering at St Thomas’s Hospital, or training for ultra-marathons in the Sahara. Sadly Mario had a cycle accident 10 days ago at the age of 82 from which he never recovered. Mario my old mate, you’ll be terribly missed!! Charlie @WeFix_London

@JamesBo34707483 You don’t actually have any knowledge at all of this road network do you? The rat-running is on quiet, narrow residential roads. The impatient motorists speeding along this road network (next to a school) are trying to escape a roadwork constraint on a 1930s dual carrigeway.

As (sadly) I predicted, I have been watching firsthand the rat-running by some entitled motorists as a result of the works on A316 (I won’t say where for fear of broadening awareness). Drivers doing this are being utterly selfish & in some cases risk putting pedestrians at risk
