Those C-130s were not on a search and rescue operation for the pilot. That airstrip they used was hundreds of kilometers away from the F-15 crash site. Trump & Hegseth thought they could set up a ground operation using commandos to try a Venezuela and steal uranium but got shot at and attacked by the Iranians and ran out of Iran like rats. Those C130 planes were clearly shot out of the sky by local soldiers and villagers 😂😂 Those charred rotors show that they were in some kind of rotation when those birds crashed Hegseth fired the generals who were refusing to engage in these kinds of adventures, and tried it but it then didn’t go so well 😂

Their narrative doesn’t add up 😂. This claim is: •They supposedly flew in, established a secret landing site, brought in two C-130s, then pushed 35 miles to a remote mountain to recover a severely wounded pilot. •After that, they ran the same 35 miles back—across open terrain—carrying the injured pilot while engaged in a nighttime firefight. •Then, upon returning, the two C-130s were somehow immobilized in the sand (there sure is no sand there 😂😂) at the original landing site. •The force continued fighting until three additional C-130s and more troops, arrived to extract them. •Then they, before leaving, destroyed the original aircraft to prevent them from falling into Iranian hands. Doesn’t add up !!

@ny_emman No need to learn Ndebele. It's a minority language. In SA, people are forced to learn Zulu because its the majority language. Same applies to Shona in Zim. Use your brain a little more

Folk saying a human can’t be a gift like history is not pregnant with monarchies moving like this, royalty being married into royalties to forge alliances. Literally as kids, it is already known whom princes& princesses are going to marry. It’s only peasants who marry for love.

@CProline38963 @Realbeefactor Legend has it, the name Dakamela is a corruption of DK Miller, the first white-owned store est. around 1901 in the area between Dolahali and Tshangane river.

@eNCA 'Clarify' is the wrong word, 'correct' is the right word. You knew what you were doing, and only made a U-turn after the backlash. At least, unlike some right wing outlets, you are still repentant.

Editor's note: This article has been updated after publication to clarify the wording around the diplomatic demarche. The Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO) has moved to demarche the United States ambassador to South Africa, Leo Brent Bozell III, over what it described as “undiplomatic remarks”. enca.com/top-stories/us…

The ZRP advises the public that the police has not issued any statement concerning Joachim Chivayo or any member of Chivayo family. The statement circulating on social media is therefore fake and false. It has nothing to do with the ZRP. The law will take its course on individuals or groups spreading false information and committing criminal acts by issuing false statements.

No Need For Referendum To Change Electoral Cycle, Claims Ziyambi Tinashe Sambiri– Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ziyambi Ziyambi on Thursday clarified that Constitutional Amendment Bill Number 3 is aimed at extending the electoral cycle from five to seven years and does not alter presidential term limits, meaning a national referendum is not required. Speaking to journalists in Harare this week , Minister Ziyambi emphasised that Sections 91(2) and 328 of the Constitution, which govern presidential term limits, remain intact. He said: "In this Constitution, terms of office are five years and coterminous with the life of Parliament. The Bill elongates the electoral cycle from five to seven years. That’s all it’s doing, to elongate the election cycle from five to seven years for everyone, from councillors to the President. It’s not specific to a person. It’s the office of the President." He recalled that in 2007, the government shortened the presidential election cycle from six to five years to align with parliamentary elections, and no referendum was required. Minister Ziyambi further clarified that the Bill does not touch Section 328(7), which covers presidential term limits. "In essence, we elected to uphold the Presidential term limit in its entirety, refraining from any alteration to section 91(2) or any facet of section 328, particularly subsection (7). This principled stance underscores our dedication to enduring democratic norms. Those are election cycles and not term limits." He stressed that a full presidential term remains unchanged and that the extension applies solely to the electoral cycle, not to the incumbent. "We have just elongated the election cycle from five to seven years. It is not specific to a person but to the office of the President," he said. Minister Ziyambi noted that referendums are generally required only for constitutional changes affecting Chapter 4 (Declaration of Rights), Chapter 16 (Agricultural Land), or presidential term limits. He added: "Even if term limits were extended to three terms, it wouldn’t need a referendum — though it wouldn’t benefit the current President anyway." He also said the move to lengthen election cycles supports the country’s Vision 2030 objectives, which were delayed by two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Ziyambi pointed to Section 95(2), which deals specifically with the electoral cycle rather than term limits. "In this light, section 95(2)(b) establishes a standardised duration for the presidency as an enduring institution, ensuring administrative continuity and a rhythmic five-year electoral cadence without imposing cumulative constraints on incumbents. This demarcation sharply distinguishes it from authentic term limits, which enforce inflexible caps, with a specific beginning and a determinable end." Addressing widespread misconceptions about the Bill, he said: "These assertions are profoundly misguided and demand unequivocal repudiation. The constitutional amendment architecture is lucidly prescribed in section 328. Pivotal is section 328(6), which requires a referendum only for Bills altering provisions in Chapter 4 (Declaration of Rights) or Chapter 16 (Agricultural Land). Section 328(9) extends this safeguard to section 328 itself, equating it to Chapter 4." Minister Ziyambi concluded that the amendment is a technical adjustment to electoral timelines and not an attempt to modify presidential term limits.
