@sappholives83 You realize there is no toilet paper next to a urinal? How would we do this? Bring extra paper in our pockets? Use a neckerchief? Men shake it to remove excess urine. Not something women can do. So, you wipe excess urine off instead.

I’m not sure what’s worse — the fact that this guy seems to think that wiping his d!ck after peeing is a womanly trait, or the fact that he wasn’t wiping it before. Please tell me that most men aren’t this gross?

Just note that according to @hrw, if country A is being attacked from country B, with hundreds of thousands of civilians being put purposely in danger in country B, it's a "war crime" for country B to invade country A to stop the attack. Which is completely absurd, and has no basis in international law--or common sense, for that matter. @HRW is just a propaganda outfit.
Human Rights Watch@hrw

Israel’s attacks in Lebanon — and the threat of more to come — have caused more than a million people to flee their homes. Without meaningful international pressure and credible prosecutions for war crimes and crimes against humanity, the Israeli authorities and their military will remain emboldened to pursue a strategy of forced displacement and permanent denial of return across the region. @TyBealPhD How is skim milk more nutritionally dense than whole milk? Does that make sense? If you want to say skim milk is healthier, ok, but obvs whole milk has more nutrients. To start, whole milk has the fat that's "skimmed" from skim milk, and that's a lot of nutrient right there.

As a reminder: - The trials show seed oils are fine - The genetic evidence shows they're fine - The observational evidence shows they're fine The contrary evidence is animal studies, mechanistic reasoning, and incautious inferences from old studies without clear relevance.
Crémieux@cremieuxrecueil

Seed oils: Are they even correlated with bad health? I assembled ALL of the available NHANES data and linked as much as possible of it to the National Death Index and found that... It's not. Seed oils aren't even correlated with problems.

Women demanding access to men’s PUBLIC spaces where decisions about business and politics were being brokered and discussed is NOT THE SAME as men who are demanding access to the PRIVATE spaces where we are in states of undress. Please stop throwing this in women’s faces like we’re getting some kind of “comeuppance.” Good men protect women from harm and don’t imply that we deserve abuse from men.

In 1990, Spy Magazine sent out checks with increasingly smaller amounts disguised as refunds to some of the richest people in New York as a social experiment, eventually sending one for 13 cents. Only two people cashed the 13 cent check: a Saudi arms dealer and Donald J. Trump.

@PlanetOfMemes Depositing cans is not a right. So there is nothing inconsistent in saying you can ID someone when that activity is not a right, such as buying alcohol, driving, or depositing cans. The reason Dems don't like IDs for voting is we don't give them to everyone free of charge.

You Can't Make This Up: To prevent fraud, the state of Connecticut passed an emergency bill, SB 299, introduced by Democratic leaders and signed into law by Governor Ned Lamont (D) on March 3, 2026 which requires a copy of a driver's license when redeeming >1,000 cans or bottles in a single day at bottle redemption centers. This measure aims to prevent fraudulent actions, particularly by out-of-state residents crossing borders to exploit Connecticut's higher 10-cent deposit refund rate (compared to 5 cents in neighboring states), which was reportedly costing the state revenue.

@ChrisMartzWX It is 76.4% of a much larger pie than it was when it was 77.1%. Energy consumtpion increases about 2% a year since the Industrial Revolution. It increased 65% since 1995. Renewables have kept pace and kept 1.7 million tons of CO2 out of the atmosphere since that time.

In 1995, 77.1% of global primary energy was provided by fossil fuels (coal, natural gas, and oil). As of 2024, 76.4% still comes from fossil fuels. That's a 0.7 percentage point drop in 30 years. World governments have spent TRILLIONS of dollars on “green” energy projects, and it has barely made a dent in the energy mix (note, these figures are based on the substitution method for fair comparison, so it slightly lowers fossil fuel figures). The fact is that renewable energy sources, like them or not, are largely add-ons to existing energy sources (primarily fossil fuel and nuclear power) that provide us transient savings in optimal conditions. That may change in the future with battery backup as they become cheaper, but that still won't address the fact that oil is STILL going to be needed for lubricants, plastics, fertilizers, etc. Oil is the backbone of modern society, so even if it were to no longer to be used as fuel, it will be used in another capacity and wars will be fought over it.
Give A Shit About Nature@giveashitnature

How stupid is it that we’re fighting even more wars over oil when we could have spent the same amount of money and transitioned the entire goddamn planet to renewables?

@ImWatson91 @HeidiBriones It's not the baby crying, it's the parents ignoring and not trying to soothe the baby. I know parents become inured to their child's crying, but they should realize that no one else is. The baby wants something. Figure it out. As long as they are doing something, I don't mind.

@KnownHeretic They aren't main "effects" if they are rare, another reason they are called "side" effects.

These dangerous body mutilating drugs should never be sold to children as a mental health cure. And to be clear, these are not “side effects,” these ARE the effects. “Side effects” is a marketing term used to sell drugs.
Jonni S🦎@JonniSkinner

I've seen a lot of comments specifically in reference to me having had hematuria on the blocker and I just want to say that this is a rare to uncommon side effect with puberty blockers. I was started on Spiro first as I believe my insurance did not cover the puberty blocker at first. Spiro works as a diuretic so it makes you pee more, and then when I had puberty blockers at 14 is when I had started developing ulcers and peeing blood and they had found no pathology when a biopsy was taken of these ulcers so no one really knew what was causing them at the time. If you go on the supprelin la website they state that side effects are not all known and on mayo clinic the side effect of urinating blood (hematuria) is one of them under rare, other websites will have it under uncommon side effects. Meaning it doesn't happen to everyone but it is a known side effect that can occur from puberty blockers, and in that instance it's supposed to be removed immediately but my mom had to fight for it to be removed. I think that's the difference is everyone's bodies will react a little bit differently so I see a lot of people getting mad at me because their bodies didn't react like this to the medication. But just because I had one reaction doesn't mean that every single person will it just means that these are reactions that can occur that these doctors are not warning people about or are denying that they could be connected to the medication. When it's actually stated on the medications website that there could be numerous potential side effects and other websites such as drugs.com or Mayo clinic do state hematuria as a possible side effect. mayoclinic.org/drugs-suppleme… I see a lot of people saying I didn't understand my own medical Care and well of course I was a young teenager and did not understand and when my mom or myself had asked these questions my doctor had brushed them off and said it couldn't be related. But when the blocker was finally removed these ulcers cleared up I've never had an incident since and never had an incidents before the blocker and there was no sign of a UTI infection as there was no pathology or bacteria found. So I did genuinely have this reaction to the blockers I'm not saying every single person will have that same exact reaction, however this does occur. I hope that clears up some people's confusion/criticism to my story / testimonies.

@Raphfel You can see it reduces the steepness of the climb, as you can see beginning around 2007 and again in 2015. Increases in coal are beginning to level out and that is what happens before the fall, especially as green line gains are more steeply climbing.

@alvinfoo You don't "acquire the home of an elderly widower" out from under him. The man likely wouldn't sell. Brad Pitt really wanted the property, so offered a life estate to sell. Just like a reverse mortgage. Pitt can now demolish the home. No need to make him into some hero for it.

Brad Pitt spent years buying up every neighbouring property around his Los Feliz estate. When he acquired the home of an elderly widower named John, already in his 90s, he could have asked him to leave. Instead, he told him he could stay for free for the rest of his life. John ended up living to 105. The story only came out because Pitt’s former neighbour, Cassandra Peterson, mentioned it in passing to People magazine. No announcement, no headlines. Just a good thing done quietly.
