You guys get psychotically drunk on the power, don’t you? The power to frighten people away, because you’re always there whenever I try to say something, release something, or just show myself. Scaring people off with the threat of being branded. You love having the power to influence decisions about where I work and who I work with, makes you feel special.
But many of my fans are right by my side.
So this is not for me. I have a 30-year career behind me and an amazing catalogue that brings me passive income. It’s for all the artists coming up, the ones that don’t fit in, the ones that just want to think straight, the ones that can’t play the game or pay the rent.

@AllisonRFloyd Don't get too excited. Petite only means shorter inseams. Nothing to do with curves. Brands will often use Junior sizing from factories for clothing but in business casual styles for "mature women".

@the_rosenrot Cyberpunk stories used a lot of Corporatism because there was a belief we'd all be covered in Corporate logos in the future (not wrong). True Cyberpunks are against Corporatism and would never wear the logos. Being anti-Corporate in a dystopian future is the punk part.

You can absolutely channel the cyberpunk aesthetics without corporatism. My body of work explicitly rejects the use of logos and words to hijack the psychology of the wearer and the people they come into contact with. In fact, with the acceleration of NRx in many parts of the developed world, this rejection is the bare minimum a person can do to maintain some semblance of individuality.

@the_rosenrot Something you may be missing is that in this particular case, the corporate logo appeals to a dystopian cyberpunk aesthetic from the sheer fact that it is in fact a corporate (tech) logo.

I hope the whole city comes out to protest this. Calls need to be made. @HelenaMorenoLA, as the mayor, are you going to let wealthy men drown us? Building a tunnel under New Orleans is dangerous, especially when we already have a damaged system and sit below sea level.

@Dan_5DotOh @MrGreenGenez Absolutely not true about the Belle Chasse tunnel. I know the people who engineered the damn thing. It constantly flooded. It was called a car wash for a reason. Maintenance was extremely expensive. That ground around there is very soft.

The Belle Chasse tunnel was closed permanently, not because of disrepair, but to divert traffic to the bridge.
