@AuntieP Corned beef, potatoes, cabbage, carrots were the basics. I think my gramma put parsnips in too, but my mother loathed parsnips so we never had extra root veggies. I haven’t had it in years. The only part I disliked was the cabbage.

Did you call Sunday lunch or a roast dinner a "cooked dinner" even though you had other meals at whatever you called dinner time or lunch time, that were also cooked? If so, where are you from? And do you still? Trying and failing to explain to daughter - I never understood it.

@cynicalbug @AppleUK_ I liked the old button the top held down with the home button. This phone changed the location. I still get angry when screenshotting 😂

I'm very confused by the emergency calling update on my iPhone. It says to hold one volume button and the side button to call emergency services. But that's how I switch my phone off. I've disabled it. Can't find more info, including if my phone (SE 2020) uses this. @AppleUK_

@AuntieP @AppleUK_ To force restart, press volume up, then press volume down, then press and hold the power button on the right until the Apple logo appears.

@AuntieP @AppleUK_ Normally, to switch the phone off, you press the right side button until the Slide To Power Off appears on the screen, then use the slider. The volume up/down can be used as part of the force restart/reboot process. More…

@SEPTAPHILLY @SEPTA_SOCIAL I always tried to say hello and thank you every time I got on or off a bus… the drivers noticed and appreciated it, I think… if it was a driver who recognized me, and I was running for a stop, they’d wait the 10 seconds so I didn’t miss the bus.

@AuntieP I’m good. I finally got out of the awful world of retail 2 years ago… I am now working in air cargo. I work for a company that handles cargo services for a bunch of airlines at my local airport. I work on 3 airlines - Delta, AlaskaAir, and British Airways.

@NWS_MountHolly The winter equinox is my very favorite day of the year, because even if it isn’t immediately noticeable, it means that the days are getting longer. By now, when the extra daylight is noticeable, it helps me to remember that this miserable winter stuff won’t go on much longer. 😃

Feb 1. 1st day of the last month of meteorological winter. The bright side? Almost a full hour of daylight since the winter equinox! And our normal temps will begin to creep back up. Let's see what our furry pal has to say about winter tomorrow morning!
