The Tory farce which is Network North is just about North of France- see map But what happens to the HS2 land? Who buys it? Tory Donors? Sunak's associates? How cheaply will it be sold? Is this an exercise of a dubious govt, with a year left, selling the lead off the roof of a country which can do nothing to stop it? DfT.... The land acquisition programme on Phase 2a will be halted immediately. Any property/land that is no longer required for HS2 will be sold and a programme is being developed to do this. Hmmmmm 🤔

@peterkyle But Peter no one cares about standards in public life any more. It's every man for himself and if you can get away with it... it's a sad endightment of British life but that's what we seem to have become.
