I am reaching the point where I just don't care about anything that doesn't directly affect me. There is very little going on that I agree with, and there isn't a damn thing I can do about it. Selfish? Yep. I admit that. But caring about things taking place in our country that I have absolutely no control over, and because no one in any position of authority cares about me or my opinion on it, maybe I should just concentrate on what to cook for dinner and whether or not I need to go shelling on the beach today.
