@AsterraL_ Its based on numpad directions and my guess would be that it was the most reliable way to notate directions on the internet. db, uf, etc might work for an English speaking community but not as much for non-English speaking regions. The numpad notation is more common in Asia afaik

Genuine question. 2d fgc members. Why do you call things 2H, 5L, etc. Why the numbers. Like I know what they mean but like. As someone who started on Tekken 8. I feel like back, down, db, uf, etc make more sense. Especially since the notation for back isn't correct on p2 side.

@jmaomusic oof I know this feeling all too well🙃 I started adding a long keyswitch note for every phrase/note using said articulation but rip whenever I write something that varies articulations a lot 🥲

just discovered that my habit of giving things vague titles has spread from Logic sessions to the voice memo ideas i record in the middle of the night

I went into a Tekken 8 chat talking about how T8 is fire and got met with surprise, left and went to a Street Fighter 6 chat talking about how SF6 is fire and also got met with surprise lmao Are modern FG players not having fun or what
