Great end to 2025 with an appellate win for @BurnsCharest clients in Upstream Harvey. The Federal Circuit affirmed the liability trial completely and, with minor issues in both directions, affirmed the compensation trial. We will push forward in 2026! houstonchronicle.com/news/houston-t…

Great post about the Antina Ranch, @Sarah4Texas, @HawkDunlap, and @zombiewellz - thanks!
Suzanne Bellsnyder@sbellsnyder

This past weekend, I visited my friend @Sarah4Texas at the beautiful Antina Ranch in West Texas. The 22,000-acre family ranch is breathtaking, but it's facing some real challenges. Old, abandoned, and “plugged” wells on the property are showing signs of big trouble — leaking oil and building pressure that shouldn't be there. There is certainly an unknown effect of contaminated groundwater, making parts of the ranch no longer safe for cattle. Leaving a family legacy built over generations, now facing an uncertain future. Antina Ranch's experience exposes gaps in the regulatory system, which have contributed to their problems. @KingForTexas , @toddahunter and @Burrows4TX for Texas heard similar concerns from honest, outspoken ranchers related to the breakdowns at the Railroad Commission and the PUC during the Panhandle Wildfires. Rural landowners are often overlooked or given the run around when it comes to working with the big government agencies. That needs to change. And as #conservatives, we should be critical of our government, especially when it is not protecting our interests from big industry. There is an important story here to be told — not just for Antina Ranch, but for landowners across rural Texas. Look for it soon in the Texas Rural Reporter. #WestTexas #AntinaRanch #TexasLand #WaterMatters #ruralreporter @HawkDunlap @ChristiClarkJD @zombiewellz
