It’s so limited already on who can get it and how people are selected. As someone working in mnfctring and supports LEGAL immigration, many good companies need H1B.

@jandmplus6 The Church outside of UT is pretty relaxed about whether one serves or not. I grew up in the Midwest, I lived in UT for 5 years before moving back. Outside of UT, people r usually just happy you there. If he has the opportunity, might be worth a try. Peace & blessings, brother.

That stat doesn’t present the full picture. Less to do with the vaccine and more to do with the most vulnerable, vaccinated or not.

Want to know the secret to understanding ANY scripture? Read it over and over and over and over and over and over and over again while pondering and praying about what you’re reading. The Spirit will marvelously reveal things once you put in the effort to find out. And there is NOTHING like having the Holy Spirit open the scriptures to you! I testify this works as I’ve done it many times. I’ve spent weeks on a single verse. I read Jacob 5 every day for 2 Months. I read the book of Revelation for an entire year and then spent three months on Chapters 12-13. God opened the Book to me, and I understood things I had never heard anyone say. If you are reading and something catches your attention, keep reading it as outlined, and the Spirit will open your eyes to something you need to know. I testify this is true and brings about Great spiritual peace and insights!

@Brian_Sauve No sleepovers, screen time with family only, discuss what to do if/when it does happen. The risk grows as kids get older and gain independence. Even the most careful homes/families can experience accidental exposure. Especially with ANY form of media, including apps like Spotify

I said read and apply its teachings to your life. People that honestly read, apply, and pray do get answers. Most people don’t really try.

Okay. Very BOLD question. Likely will delete. I was sexually abused as a child, as a member of LDS church, my parents were advised, through, the Bishop, through the "hotline" to sweep it under the rug. Should I pursue legal action against the LDS church?
